Private and secluded log cabin chalet is situated on three picturesque acres overlooking tall pines and forests with heartwarming winter mountain views. The chalet was built in 2003 and has gorgeous stone countertops and two pull out sofa beds. Our home is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean because we take pride in knowing that all our guests will be happy and remember their stay with us. We are located under one mile from Catamount ski area and 20 minutes to Butternut ski area. Biking, fishing, swimming, hiking and horseback riding, golfing and antique auctions are just some of the many activities in the area. Beautiful weekend retreat
I cannot give this home a higher review. It is immaculate, spacious, completely stocked with whatever we needed, and beautifully decorated for the fall season.
The homeowners were great to work with - excellent communication all around.
We loved using the fire pit behind the house, and enjoyed visiting some of the nearby towns. I highly recommend visiting Great Barrington which was a short 15 minute drive.
We look forward to returning to this great country home in the future!

Anniversary getaway
My wife and I rented this beautiful place to get away from life for a couple of days. The place was perfect! Far enough to be alone, but close enough to a lot of things to do when we wanted to go out.
The house was so cute like a real log cabin. Fireplace was wonderful and heating stove inside made the stay cozy. Everything was on hand like towels, soaps, TV, utensils, and placeware. It was clean and tidy.
It was the best experience and we look forward to staying here again in the future.

Best place to stay.Period
My family and I rent the cabin multiple times a year.we will not stay anywhere else.The cabin is kept immaculate and has everything you need and more.we used the firepit this year and the kids and I loved it.

Awesome family vacation spot!
This is actually my second time staying here, over a three year period, and I had identical experiences both times. The house is located in Hillsdale, NY, right next to Great Barrington, MA. The communication with the owner is excellent, from start to finish. The house easily accommodates 6+ people, more if they’re kids involved.
Beautifully decorated cabin, with just about everything you’d ever need to have an enjoyable week in the woods, from bikes to movies to games to a fire pit, and everything you need in the kitchen to cook multiple meals.

Amazing Get Away
Bill & Eileen’s home is incredible ! My wife and I had the best Memorial Day of our lives this past weekend. Great spot to relax or go on an adventure. I would highly recommend this home to anyone ! Can’t wait to go back.

Perfect Log Cabin
Log cabin was beautiful, very clean, well stocked, and in great condition. Cabin is centrally located and convenient to all the Berkshires have to offer. It was perfect for our family reunion.

Loved our experience.
Beautiful log cabin on a quiet street, surrounded by "peace and quiet". Loved the accommodations - easily sleeps 6 with two full baths. Kitchen has all the ammennities. Has a gorgeous deck and grill (but didn't get the chance to use). Loved the stone outdoor patio and fire pit. Family had a wonderful time. Owners made everything very easy with directions and instructions. Would absolutely rent this home again as Bill a Eileen made it very easy. They were very helpful about surrounding communities. These wonderful towns had everything. You would need to make a wonderful and memorable vacation.

Perfect Family Weekend Cabin Getaway
The cabin was exactly what we were expecting from the pictures shown on TripAdvisor. It was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and cozy. There were 5 adults in our group, but the cabin could easily accomodate 8 adults. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of pots & pans, frying pans, dishware, glassware, utensils, coffee maker, and even condiments, such as salt & pepper, spices, cooking spray, coffee, coffee filters, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, wine opener, can opener, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, etc., not to mention plenty of bed linens & bath towels. There was also plenty of firewood available for the beautiful outdoor fire pit and/or the wood burning stove in the Living Room. The owners have truly thought of everything to make your stay perfect and hassle free. We would definitely recommend this place and look forward to coming back and staying again in the future. Also, there is a spectacular Premium Outlets Shopping Center in Lee, MA which is only 30 minutes away from this cabin.
