The cottage is available from 3.pm. And on the day of departure it is 10.am.

Interaction with guests: The Full Address is Stable Cottage ,Broomyshaw country Cottages Lr Broomyshaw Farm, Dukes Lane, Winkhill Nr Leek ,Staff;s ST13 7QZ...When you arrive at the cottage, one of the family will greet you ,show you round and hand over the keys.
I have stayed in all three of the properties but have never gave a review the reason being I love this place so much I don't want other people finding this hidden gem. But now I think it's time to give a review, broomyshaw cottages are in a beautiful location the views all round are fantastic plus dog friendly and my dog loves every minute. If you want to know anything Graham and Amanda are so happy to help, my favourite time is having my chats with Graham and walking dog in the country with not a soul in sight.there is a dog friendly pub close by and you can order takeaway if you want but you have all cooking facilities in each cottage.Hope I don't regret this as I love staying here and being away from everything and I'm risking the chance of future stays

Cosy cottage, delightful hosts
I had the most delightful stay in Stable Cottage for 3 weeks in January. Graham and Amanda are incredible hosts; I cannot recommend them enough. Not only is the cottage homely, and well-equipped - Graham and Amanda go above and beyond to make sure that you are comfortable, whilst still giving you plenty of your own space.
For example, I was taking a while to scrape the frost off my car in the morning. Amanda came up and gave me a can of de-icer, just because she saw me struggling.
They are both incredibly lovely and I could not have asked for a better place to stay.

Wonderful area, cosy property and lovely hosts.
We stayed here to go to Alton towers and it is only 5 miles from the park. Situated in a beautiful and lovely rural area of the Peak District.
We were made to feel right at home by the hosts and it felt like we were immediately part of their friends and family group.
The property is cosy, well priced, nicely equipped for a stay and just what was needed for the perfect weekend getaway from everything.
Will be staying again!!

Great place
Easy to find, tucked away so very quiet and peaceful.
Stable cottage was very well equipped, it was a perfect place for us to rest and be away from the hustle and bustle.
The hosts were great, made us welcome and provided everything we needed.
We will return someday.

Lovely little cottage and amazing hosts
From the moment we arrived Graham and Amanda made us feel very welcome and laugh lots.
Graham showed us around the cottage and informed us of all the amenities and how everything worked.
This was our first holiday away with our friends dog, Sam. He had a great time too. So if you have dogs and enjoy walks or if you want somewhere peaceful we highly recommend staying here.
Nice quiet place to rest your head after a days walk.
Thank you Graham and Amanda. We will be back

We had a great stay very friendly welcome from Graham & Joyce Covid safe great Location for walks and dog friendly the cottage had everything we needed Will definitely return
cows on the road driving up to the cottage very funny nice slow drive up to the cottage was very enjoyable go slow and enjoy the view it’s peaceful and very quiet

Home from home
Swallow Cottage is a great location for anyone looking to walk around the Derbyshire dales. The hosts are very welcoming and the cottage was a home from home ! Well equipped, very comfortable and really cosy of an evening.

Nice cottage in pleasant location.
The location met our needs as we visited the area. it is comfortable and cosy with basic equipment provided. The owner mentioned that the hot water was only warm. It turned out to be cold. The showers were very invigorating every morning! The property had wifi but it was only intermittent. Dukes Lane, the road to the cottage, owned and managed by the Highways Agency is in an atrocious state of repair and unfenced, so be aware of cattle on the road. There is a safe playing field onsite. However we enjoyed our stay and the owner was friendly and helpful.

Very nice cottage, very clean and well equiped
We stopped here for a long week-end and had a great time! Just in the borders of the Peak District, very friendly owner. Our dog also enjoyed it! Thank you Graham & Amanda.

Lovely holiday
My Mother-in-Law stayed in this Cottage. She thought it was very well equipped, very clean and loved the play field, where the Grandchildren played everyday. Graham, Joyce and Amanda are such lovely people. Thanks again for a lovely holiday and hope to see you again next year.
