The Stone's Throw Cabin I is about 500 square feet and approximately 200 feet from West Branch Delaware River. The cabin has it's own fire pit. There is a picnic area and barbeque. The cabin sits on 260 feet of riverfront. The West Branch of the Delaware River is known as the best wild trout fishing east of The Rockies. We are located at the tail waters of the Cannonsville Reservoir, so the constant flow of fresh cold water makes trout fishing marvelous. The cabin boasts a covered porch, the perfect place to relax while reading a great book or observing the wildlife. The fully equipped kitchen allows for homemade meals in the privacy of your own cabin. Air-conditioning, ceiling fans and heated for winter use.

We had a great time. The cabins were clean and adorable. The owner provided everything and anything you could need. We went fishing whenever we wanted, the fishing spot is so nice!! Saw lots of wildlife and made s'mores each night. We had a great weekend. The 2 strings of lights at night were a terrific added touch! We hope to return soon.

Exactly what we were looking for
My family and I stayed at this cabin this past weekend. we were looking for a quiet getaway and this was perfect. The cabin was adorable and so clean. The owner is awesome and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. My kids have already asked when we could go back.

Visit over Christmas holiday
My husband and I booked the cabin for Christmas to visit with our dog. It snowed the night we arrived and we were very happy about it. There was a fire pit outside the cabin which we lit and enjoyed s’mores.
The cabin itself is spacious, well organized, and clean. There were bunk beds in the bedroom so it was difficult to sleep a couple and a dog. Better suited for kids.
Overall, it was a fun getaway!

Great Experience!
My wife and I (and our dog) stayed for the weekend and it was an all around great time. The location is very quiet and peaceful, there is lots of space around and behind the cabin, and the Delaware River is literally right out front. There are also fire pits and benches/chairs outside for when the weather is nice. Close enough to town (Deposit) to run and grab anything you need, and the Oquaga Creek State Park is just about 10-15 mins down the road. The cabin was perfect for the two of us and had all the amenities that we needed, to include WiFi and a smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Video. There are two heaters that keep the cabin plenty warm in the winter, and a window AC unit that I assume keeps it cool enough in the summer. The owners have a book with all the pertinent info you need about the cabin and local area. We definitely recommend this cabin for a weekend getaway or a fishing trip for 3 or 4 people.

Perfect Place to spend some time to relax and enjoy the country air
My wife and I spent the weekend at this cabin and it was fantastic. The weather was horrible for 2 days and usually that would kill a vacation but getting to spend time together inside this cozy cabin was absolutely fantastic. The cabin has all the amenities of being at home but you are in the country, a short stones throw to the West Branch of the Delaware River. Literally about 100-150 from the river. There are Adirondack chairs set up river bank side where you can just relax, listen to water rush by, trout fish or whatever you wanna do at a riverside log cabin. There is a fire pit about 30 ft from the porch and another pit about 80 ft from the cabin. There are a few Adirondack chairs set up around both fire pits and picnic table near the fire pit closest to the house. The cabin is very cozy,quaint and a perfect place to spend a weekend or a few weeks. We didn’t wanna leave but like all other things.. They must come to an end. We will definitely be renting this cabin again as we have already booked it for a few more nights in 2 weeks and by then we will have booked it for a few more dates. There is 2 identical cabins on this property so if you have a large group you could rent them both. Plenty of room for tents if you wanted to let grandma and grandpa take the bedroom and let the young ones “ Rough it” and by that I mean sleep in a tent on an awesome piece of land right next to a beautiful log cabin that has all the amenities of being at home or a luxury hotel. If you are into the outdoor/ country life thing... This place is fantastic and the owner Pat is a very nice guy, very accommodating and he really takes care of his guests and the property as well. Enjoy!

Cabin Rental
Cabin was very comfortable and had all Amenities needed for a comfortable stay. River was 50 yards away and got to see the Bald Eagles hunting on the river.

Beautiful Location
Nice clean cabin with everything needed for our stay. Right on the river with a comfortable front porch. I will look to rent again the next time we are in the area.

the perfect getaway cabin
We have used this cabin a few times. We highly recommend it. It meets all of our needs. It is close to the river and not far from town. Everything you need is already supplied in the cabin. Great for the angler and also for a family get a way. Great value for the money. The owner is a call away if you need anything.

Delightful accommodations and plenty to do in the area!
This cabin had all the necessities and it was close to kayaking, fishing and hiking. The area is beautiful and we had a wonderful weekend away!
