About the neighborhood
While our home is in a very private and quiet spot at the North end of Taos, there are many things to do nearby. The stunning gorge bridge is just 5 minutes away; Taos Pueblo is a 5 minute drive; Taos Plaza is a 10 minute Drive with live music, shopping and eateries; the charming town of Arroyo Secco with lovely restaurants, the famous ice cream place Taos Cow and other attractions is just 10 minutes away; and the Ski Valley is a 20 - 30 minute drive.
Getting around
There are buses around Taos, and even Uber, but the best way to get around Taos is undoubtably with your own car. All wheel drive recommended during winter months.

The OBL (Old Blinking Light) is the affectionate term that Taoseños use for the junction of the main road 64, 522 and 150. If you're coming North from the center of Taos along Route 64, make a left at the Old Blinking light to continue on 64. Make the immediate left onto Blueberry Hill Road. Then a left onto Mesa Vista Road. Right onto Mesa Vista Lane, a semi-circular dirt road off Mesa Vista Road.
