I lived with my wife last year in this villa for 6 months and we would never have moved out of there if we had not had the moment that we had to leave Bali due to the pandemic. Believe me, before checking in, we looked at more than 60 different options in the Semenyak, Canggu and Kerobokan area, but this villa was the best in all our understandings. 1. The building meets all Western standards 2. Nothing requires repair or purchase of something 3. You drop in and you can start living right away 4. All equipment in working order: air conditioners, water pumps, swimming pool, kitchen equipment, gas grill ... 5. Everything is very clean and well-groomed 6. There is a pool with fish and three turtles 7. Ideal location to get anywhere on the island And most importantly, it is the owner of the house who provides all this comfort and always responds to any question or request. Thank you so much, Greg. Greg’s place is truly one of a kind. It’s super clean and his first floor has the option of opening up to the pool area or being closed. This was important to my husband and I as we had been about eaten alive at a previous location. We booked this place a few hours before arriving as the initial place we had booked was not as advertised and Greg worked tirelessly at the last minute to make sure it was perfect. He’s got fish and turtles by the pool area which was such a nice touch. The home has just about everything you can think of and even has a washer - a rarity on this island. He gave us recommendations on what to do and went as far as to arrange a scooter rental for us. He was always prompt and would be over in 5 minutes if we ever needed anything. The home is close to a lot of great restaurants in Semniyak but not smack dab in the middle of it all so it’s still got a relaxing vibe. I can’t say enough great things about this place and the host. So glad I stumbled upon it at the last minute!

The villa is beautifully appointed with lots of personal touches to make it feel very welcoming. The different water features surrounding the villa help provide the relaxed atmosphere. Well appointed, very clean & spacious. Greg was always available to provide any information needed when required, very friendly & helpful. Highly recommended!

Just a short walk to the main eating and shopping areas, tucked away on a quiet street of residential and small boutique accommodation, this villa was a good find and offered everything we were looking for as we were staying for 4 weeks. The Villa was clean, well appointed and it was easy to relax in the private setting. Sun, Shade, BBQ, Swimming and the fun of feeding the fish and the 3 pet turtles on a daily basis, made it feel a little more like a home than a holiday let. We enjoy a walk and I think we must have walked in many directions to find new and interesting interesting shops and restaurants, however, if walking is not on your agenda then its easy to hail a cab or be picked up from the Villa... cab fare range from 35K to 100K (July/Aug) depending on how well you haggle or just get them to use the metre. Traffic can be quite heavy so you might find walking a bit quicker depending on the time of day!! About a 5-10 min walk will take you to the market and supermarket where you can buy lots of great produce, there are small street food eating places along the way, and Sardine, Metis, Lantern, Livingstones, Pison - great coffee - are really just off your door step. Really close by you have T2 for coffee croissants and food, and for one of the best Nasi Goreng brekkies just head up the road and round the corner to Aggi Stay. Greg the owner, is always on hand if you need anything and his Driver Domas will happily take you on any trips you may want to organise. We'd definitely stay at Greg's Villa the next time we visit Seminyak

Had a great stay at the villa, Greg the host was very accommodating and gave us some great tips on places to eat and drink and where to buy groceries. Villa was great, had everything you could think of. Alpha mart was walking distance away to get essentials, and easy and cheap ($3 AUD) to catch a taxi in to Seminyak.

I loved,loved,loved this house! Everything was exactly as pictured. The beds were super comfortable and the location was perfect. The owner made sure there were no issues. We had a wonderful stay. There were menus and brochures from local businesses that other guests had recommended. The owner also gave us a few recommendations. The Sundari Spa just minutes away is not to be missed! If you want a super relaxing, no stress vacation I highly recommend Bali Holiday Villa!

What a great find! We’re a family of 4 plus a little baby lady on our first visit to Bali, so not sure what to expect. Greg offered to arrange a baby chair and cot which has been really useful. Pick up from the airport was arranged with Dumas, Greg’s driver. Also used him for a day trip, very reasonable rates. Dumas is not great on interaction so don’t expect a tour guide experience, but he’ll get you where you need to be safely. For us with a baby, the beach is quite a walk away, so a pram is not practical, with scooters riding on pavements! On Greg’s recommendation we opted for Blue Bird taxi, downloaded the app and used almost everyday. Rates very reasonable. On one if our trips with Blue Bird we left a cell phone in the taxi and got it back in 30min after asking another driver to contact the company. If you’re after a quite vibe away from the hype and hustle, then Greg’s place is just for you! Everything is as described and more! The place is clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. This is one of the few villas that also has a lounge area that can also close off. The plunge pool is great for cooling down any time of day. Happy the bedrooms have aircon! Would’ve been a bonus if the living area also had one, but we’ve managed fine with the giant ceiling fan and open doors. A bonus was having our granddaughter feed the fish and resident turtles. Convenience stores within walking distance. Had a scooter on standby for quick trips but hardly used it. Malls are a little further. Greg is an attentive, generous and genuine host. Lost of advise on do’s and dont’s when our and about. Also made really good recommendations for meals, restaurants, spas etc. will stay here again. Highly recommended Villa!

I’ve actually thought a lot about how I’m going to write this but honestly there aren’t words to express how great our stay was! One of my favourite aspects of Greg is his communication. From booking all the way through check out he was on top of the game. It was REALLY nice to not just have a host of a villa, but a partner in making sure our time was the best that it possibly could be. The space itself is stunning, made even more awesome by the fact that Greg built it all. The craftsmanship and thought that went into every detail of the space is amazing, and this is coming from a real estate investor and builder. The location is perfect, just out of the craziness of the city. It’s close enough where a short walk will get you to a lot of interesting spots but Greg will sort you out a scooter or driver if you’d like. I recommend getting the driver as it’s nice to not stress through traffic and see destinations that he’s been to all his life. All in all I can’t recommend this enough. I’ve not even flown out of Bali yet and can’t wait to come back!

A lovely villa with everything that you would need and a great host, who clearly goes above and beyond for his guests. It’s spacious enough for a few people. My only issue was that it was too warm downstairs. It’s close enough to the centre via taxi, which are very easy to use with the blue bird app, it’s probably a little far to walk in the heat. If you want a villa away from the hustle and bustle this is perfect. If you want to be in the centre then maybe one of the main hotels would be better.
