The villa offers delicious in villa dining.
The cook will prepare lunch & diner at your request and do the grocery shopping at cost price for you. Receipts will be presented to guests in return with change.
The cook is trained personally by the owners in french & italian cuisine.
Breakfast is also prepared daily with your choice of menu.
Fresh bread & croissants can be purchased for you in the mornings by the staff at the French bakery across the lane !

Interaction with guests:Â Villa Padawan is managed by the owner. All pre arrival details are organised direcly with the owner who will instruct the Villa team accordingly.
The owner will only come to the villa in the event of an issie or if guests request to meet.
The villa's day to day is run by the professional team on site : the cook, the housekeepers, the gardener / maintenance man and a villa manager who speaks very good english.
My husband and our two small children visited Villa Padawan in January. We visit Bali around 3-4 times a year. I had admired this villa on various villa websites for a while and I was really excited for out stay. The villa grounds were great but the villa itself is a little tired and rundown and in my opinion needs a fair bit of work. There were cracks in the bedroom doors that you could see straight through, one of the rattan chairs in the living area bale had a hole in it and the bathrooms and surrounding gardens needed attention/updating. For the cost we expected much better.

Your stay was just prior to the scheduled re landscapping of the garden and servicing of the bathroom paints and doors. We also had not yet received the new rattan set to replace the one that had been damaged by prior guests.
I sincerely apologise for the unfortunate timing that caused your stay to be less enjoyable then expected.

Amazing experience!
We had the best family vacation in years at the Villa Padawan. Maya is a gracious and considerate host, and helped arrange for our specific needs. We liked the villa's design and arrangements so much that we spent more time in the villa than outside it, and we do not regret that a bit! The very nice support staff, including a very talented chef made our stay even more pleasurable. Thanks again for a great experience.

Great experience
Beautiful house, lots of space. Our kids loved the bunk beds. Area has some great restaurants only a short taxi ride away. Home owner was very responsive to emails. Staff was very sweet.

Perfect for Groups & Families
Two families total nine people including five kids aged 8 through 14. Great location, less than an hour from the airport and short car ride to Seminyak beaches, bars and restaurants but far enough away to be quiet. Also not to far, about 1 1/2hrs from Ubud for white water rafting and quad biking.
Layout of the villa suited us perfectly as two families. Its stylish, immaculately clean and all rooms are interconnected. It has a lovely pool and garden with an outside lounge and dining area. The Chef was brilliant, lots choices cooked perfectly. Also for local food, several cafes and restaurants within walking distance but be careful of the mopeds!. Overall I would highly recommended.

Beautiful welcoming villa & staff
My family and I had a beautiful stay at Villa Padawan. Everything about the place was great: the interior design done with a lot of taste made it very nice to wake up to such a nice environnement. The location was perfect for us to travel around. The inhouse chef was excellent and so precious for us all to relax and enjoy our stay. Travelling with four children, the child friendly equipment at our disposal was very useful. Maya was a great host, that helped us organise great activities for our children. She was full of nice ideas and good recommendations for restaurants and shopping. We could only highly recommend this Villa for families or friends travelling to Bali.

Relaxing stay great for the young family
We stayed five nights at the Villa with 3 kids and 3 adults.
Life was made as easy as possible with very good in-house cooking and friendly and charming staff.
The kids spent most of the time in the pool and running around the spacious and leafy backyard.
Facilities were very good and kept very clean.
Ideal for those wanting peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle.

Perfectly relaxed home away from home
We stayed at Villa Padawan for a week, with adult family members. We could not have been happier. The setting is relaxing and perfectly set up with everything we needed. The meals Kadek cooked for us were unanimously voted the best we had over our whole stay in Bali. All staff were friendly and helpful. Villa Padawan is set just out of the main part of Seminyak, and (for us at least) a little too far to walk into town. However taxis were easily arranged and there are a number of really great cafes and spas within walking distance. For us it was nice to be a little bit away from the busyness of Seminyak. Overall we had a wonderful experience at Villa Padawan and will be very happy to return. Highly recommended.

Welcome to paradise
This place is amazing! Highly recommend.
We went with our young boys (3yo and 18mo) and had two adult friends with us and it was perfect. We will be going back again next year!
All the other reviews say it all but we thought the staff were incredible and the sense of space was fabulous. Kadek's cooking was better than Seminyak's finest dining (Merah Putih can't compete!). And the pool and toys are perfect for the kids.
See you all next year!

Family Reunion
We had a family reunion at the villa for a 40th Birthday. The villa was perfect for our large group with children. The staff were incredibly and the food was exceptional. The kids ate before us and we were able to put them to bed and than sit back and enjoy a banquet of delicious food. We dined in every night as the villa has the best chef. It really felt like a relaxing holiday. The villa catered for all our needs, we just sat back and relaxed! We definitely hope to be back.

Beautiful Villa, Wonderful staff, wish we were back there!
As a family of 7 of differing age ranges, it can often be a challenge to find the ideal holiday accommodation/location to suit all needs, Villa Padawan however, completely met and exceeded our hopes and expectations. It has a well designed thoughtful layout with connecting bedrooms each with there own separate entrances and an outside covered living area which worked particularly well in the late evenings when we could relax with the toddler asleep (a baby listener worked well). The comfy chairs are just wonderful to sink into in the evening.
The team of staff are an absolute delight and nothing was too much trouble. The food prepared and cooked by Kadak was delicious, some our favourite meals being her Beef Rendang, Tuna Nicoise and Spring rolls, to name a few, all were to a very high standard and exceptionally good value.
While we were there, we did suffer a plumbing issue, however Maya and Diego pulled out all the stops to resolve this as quickly as they were able and this did not impact on our holiday.
Our week in Villa Padawan has left us with the most wonderful memories and each and everyone of us on our return to the UK/Australia has wished at various times to be back there, to that end, we really do hope to return and have no hesitation in recommending it.
Thank you again Maya and Diego and all the wonderful Padawan team, you made our holiday.

The villa is nested in the expat residential area of Umalas , a traditional charming village still surrounded by rice fields but minutes away from trendy area of seminyak with its restaurants, bars and shops and minutes away from the batu belig beach. So practical to access Petitenget & Seminyak from Umalas and yet away from it all, quiet but so convenient with bread, ice cream, coffee and supermarket few meters away !
BALI:
Bali is a amazing island which charms us every time we come back. It is magical with it's traditions, beauty, magic and secret hideaways. The Balinese are wonderful people with kind hearts, strong minds and open views.
Bali is rich with difference in landscapes between both, south, west and east.
It's abundant lushness, fabulous views and incredible culture will take your breath away !
Getting around
We can organise scooter rentals for guests or a 7 guests seater car and driver that is at the very reasonable price of about 40 Usd for 8 hours a day.
We can also call local taxis easily.
Uber and Grab are also available in Bali.

The villa organises the conplimentray airport pick up for guests. Drivers wait at the arrivals area holding a sign with the guests name.
