Villa Portsea in Seminyak Bali was designed by an Australian couple that regularly visited Bali over the last 20 years; finally deciding to build their own villa in Seminyak Bali based upon all their hotel and villa experiences.
The location of the villa in Seminyak Bali is the most important thing about property, location location, location, it is located in a beautiful street that is so quite but only 80 meters from the main road running through Petitenget.
They like to think that Villa Portsea in Seminyak Bali has many little things that some Luxury villas that cost so much more per night may miss

Amazing villa
We had the pleasure of staying here in August for 11 nights. The villa itself was lovely, beds were super comfy, area was so handy for everything. It's so peaceful even though you have a busy road at the end of the alleyway, you don't hear a thing. Made, the housekeeper, comes in daily. She is an absolute gem. She looked after us so well. Made is what makes the villa special as nothing is too much effort for her. She keeps the place absolutely spotless, I've never stayed anywhere so clean. If I could've brought her home with me I'd have stolen her 😂.
I highly recommend Villa Portsea for location and a great place to relax or go sightseeing.

Close to everything, private & peaceful
Just returned from a 16 night stay at Villa Portsea as a family (4 adults) & what a wonderful experience it was.
The villa is large & spacious, well set out & perfectly private. Each room is air conditioned & the beds were very comfortable at night. We particularly loved the bathrooms & option to shower/bath outside in privacy.
The kitchen is well set up, large fridge/freezer & cold water filter plus microwave & toaster.
The upstairs lounge area is fantastic to relax in especially at sunset as the view is excellent.
Made the housekeeper is a wonderfully warm person, she comes for a few hours each day to make up the rooms & make sure everything was as perfect as possible. It was & we all loved her!
The location of the villa is absolutely ideal. The variety of good restaurants, cafes, lively entertainment, supermarket, mini mart, chemist, money changer & spas - all within short walking distance is fantastic.
This villa is a wonderful home base & we are looking forward to our next stay

Wonderful home away from home
This is a wonderful home away from home. This was our second stay and Made made us feel so welcome. The pool is warm and so inviting. The bedrooms are spacious with good aircon and block-out curtains. The bathrooms are also big with double showers. Plenty of room for your own space when you want it. Made cooked us a terrific breakfast on our first morning. The lane location is quiet yet you are a couple of minutes from great spots to eat, the supermarket and the beach is maybe a 10-15 minute walk if you're strolling along. We can't wait to come back for a third time.

Lovely
We had a great time with the family at Villa Portsea. It is just as nice as the pictures and in a great location with plenty of great food options nearby. It is a walkable distance to the Seminyak markets etc. or a short cheap cab ride away. We made the mistake of booking through an external agent who stuffed us around a bit but it was all sorted out very professionally by Villa Portsea. Made and Katut looked after us very well and kept everything clean and tidy.

Lovely comfortable villa with great pool
We loved our first stay at Villa Portsea. The location is within easy walking (appx 15 mins) to beach and Eat Street and there are great little places at the doorstep and even a good supermarket to top up supplies. It was lovely to be welcomed by Made. She is a very friendly lady and greeted us with a big smile. Having security at night is great peace of mind too. I do suggest if the security man needs a night off just let the guest know prior to that night. The villa layout is good, the beds comfortable and lovely big bathrooms. I loved the bedside clock in the main bedroom. Not something you get to often in Bali. The pool was beautifully maintained and a great temperature (not icy) plus the couple of pool toys was great. We also reckon it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a downstairs TV and some outdoor furniture upstairs would mean you could really sit outside and enjoy that space. We had trouble playing DVD's upstairs which was a shame as lack of channel choices on TV. Having said that TV is a very small part of a Bali holiday but handy particularly with kids or teenagers. Prior to arriving I had asked for some help with organising a chef to cook for our local Balinese friends. We were very happily assisted and it was a wonderful experience. Chef Made came to the villa and cooked up beautiful local food for us and our friends, He was friendly, efficient and with Made's (maid) help they had it all cleaned up promptly after. A wonderful experience and very economical for what we got. 100% we will be back. Highly recommend. Thank you to you all for making it happen and presenting such a lovely property. We can't wait to come back sooner rather than later!

Lovely comfortable villa
Villa Portsea is a lovely extremely well kept villa down a laneway off Jl Petetinget. The housekeeper Made, and Ketut the night security man were great. The bed was comfortable as were all the furnishings. The pool was excellent. We found that the only things lacking were a TV downstairs for the news in the mornings. More English speaking channels such as ABC channel on the TV upstairs and some comfortable seating on the upstairs outside space. Other than that the Villa could not be faulted.

Villa privacy.
Situated down a lane way this villa is very private and very well laid out. Loved the double showers and the outside bath.
Great kitchen with large fridge freezer was very useful. Wonderful pool with generous sitting/lazing area that got a good workout.
Best feature.. Made the housekeeper. A marvel.

Seminyak Villa
Everything about Villa Portsea was amazing. This place is in perfect position, a quiet lane away from the crazy Bali traffic, yet close enough to walk or catch 5min taxis to wherever we wanted to go.
The Villa itself is luxury!...the pool, the beds, the living areas, and all beautifully maintained. And
Madé looked after us so well. I would highly recommend Villa Portsea and can’t wait to go back!

Sensational!
Exactly like the pictures. Amazing, affordable place to relax and enjoy your holiday. Maid was beautiful, helpful and genuine. Definately recommend for your next escape.

Beautiful stay!
Villa Portsea makes for an incredible stay in Seminyak! The location is great, being just 50 metres from a main road you are still hidden from the noise whilst being conveniently close to everything you may need. Mrs Made is a lovely lady who will assist you with everything you may need to make your stay even more comfortable with regular cleaning and breakfast offered on your first morning. The property is incredible and the pool is just perfect! Thanks again and we hope to see you again soon!
