We had a great time with the family at Villa Portsea. It is just as nice as the pictures and in a great location with plenty of great food options nearby. It is a walkable distance to the Seminyak markets etc. or a short cheap cab ride away. We made the mistake of booking through an external agent who stuffed us around a bit but it was all sorted out very professionally by Villa Portsea. Made and Katut looked after us very well and kept everything clean and tidy.

We loved our first stay at Villa Portsea. The location is within easy walking (appx 15 mins) to beach and Eat Street and there are great little places at the doorstep and even a good supermarket to top up supplies. It was lovely to be welcomed by Made. She is a very friendly lady and greeted us with a big smile. Having security at night is great peace of mind too. I do suggest if the security man needs a night off just let the guest know prior to that night. The villa layout is good, the beds comfortable and lovely big bathrooms. I loved the bedside clock in the main bedroom. Not something you get to often in Bali. The pool was beautifully maintained and a great temperature (not icy) plus the couple of pool toys was great. We also reckon it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a downstairs TV and some outdoor furniture upstairs would mean you could really sit outside and enjoy that space. We had trouble playing DVD's upstairs which was a shame as lack of channel choices on TV. Having said that TV is a very small part of a Bali holiday but handy particularly with kids or teenagers. Prior to arriving I had asked for some help with organising a chef to cook for our local Balinese friends. We were very happily assisted and it was a wonderful experience. Chef Made came to the villa and cooked up beautiful local food for us and our friends, He was friendly, efficient and with Made's (maid) help they had it all cleaned up promptly after. A wonderful experience and very economical for what we got. 100% we will be back. Highly recommend. Thank you to you all for making it happen and presenting such a lovely property. We can't wait to come back sooner rather than later!

Villa Portsea is a lovely extremely well kept villa down a laneway off Jl Petetinget. The housekeeper Made, and Ketut the night security man were great. The bed was comfortable as were all the furnishings. The pool was excellent. We found that the only things lacking were a TV downstairs for the news in the mornings. More English speaking channels such as ABC channel on the TV upstairs and some comfortable seating on the upstairs outside space. Other than that the Villa could not be faulted.

Situated down a lane way this villa is very private and very well laid out. Loved the double showers and the outside bath. Great kitchen with large fridge freezer was very useful. Wonderful pool with generous sitting/lazing area that got a good workout. Best feature.. Made the housekeeper. A marvel.

Everything about Villa Portsea was amazing. This place is in perfect position, a quiet lane away from the crazy Bali traffic, yet close enough to walk or catch 5min taxis to wherever we wanted to go. The Villa itself is luxury!...the pool, the beds, the living areas, and all beautifully maintained. And Madé looked after us so well. I would highly recommend Villa Portsea and can’t wait to go back!

Villa Portsea makes for an incredible stay in Seminyak! The location is great, being just 50 metres from a main road you are still hidden from the noise whilst being conveniently close to everything you may need. Mrs Made is a lovely lady who will assist you with everything you may need to make your stay even more comfortable with regular cleaning and breakfast offered on your first morning. The property is incredible and the pool is just perfect! Thanks again and we hope to see you again soon!

Villa Portsea lived up to all our expectations! What you see in the pictures is what you a greeted with upon arriving. All aspects if the villa were great and could have easily stayed for weeks. We stayed with our 18 month old son who had a blast and found a new friend in "Made" (more on her later). Breakfast provided on the first day and heaps of cafes/restaurants to choose from on the other mornings. Or like we did a few mornings was to cook our own with supplies from the shop just a 2 min walk up the road. Great location with an easy 10-15 min walk to places such as Sarong, Merah Putih, The W, Potato head, Metis plus so much more. Eat street could be walked to but it's only short cab ride so that was how we got there. "Made" (maid/cleaner) was awesome! Very helpful with tips on where to go and how to get there. Was great with our son which took a little while to warm up to her but when he did loved her. She is a credit to the villa and I'm sure the owners know that! I could keep going but I think you can get the picture on what has already been said above :) We will recommend this villa to anyone we know travelling to the area. Thanks Made and Villa Portsea!

We jumped on a plane straight from work, still in our suits and back to back meetings still buzzing in heads. Arriving at Denpasar, the first person we saw coming out of customs was our driver Mr Caca who had us away instantly. Arriving at the villa we were greeted by Security and the villa looked stunning with the lights highlighting the beautiful rooms and private pool. We were given the grand tour then left to our privacy. The work attire came off and settled in for peaceful night sleep in the comfy big bed. We had the privilege of meeting Mrs Made in the morning who made us a lovely breakfast and ensured we felt at home. She looked after us and the villa each day with care, interest and a big smile. The villa was even more brilliant than what we could imagine and had everything you could need for private getaways to family and friend trips. No expense had been spared. We spent countless hours sitting by the stunning pool with lots of swims to cool down. Just what we needed to recharge the batteries. The location was perfect for us and we walked everywhere. Close to great Seminyak restaurants, cafes, beach clubs and gyms to burn off the Bintang beers. The highlight spots for us were Barbacoa and DaMaria restaurants, Sisterfield cafe, Finns beach club and W Hotel for sunset drinks. Oh and don't forget the no fuss Daily Gym. We had to drag ourselves home and have started to plot and scheme to find our way back sooner rather later. Thanks to Scott, Mrs Made, Dian and Security who coordinated and help us with everything.

We've been to Bali 3 times and Villa Portsea is the best accommodation we have stayed in. It's well designed, clean, offers quality furnishings and is fully equipped with the latest mod-cons and technology - in short, they've thought about everything! If there is something you need, the staff are attentive, friendly and professional - like the villa itself, they go above and beyond to ensure you're well taken care of. The location is great - close enough to the heart of Seminyak, while being tucked away to offer privacy from the hustle and bustle. There are plenty of exceptional restaurants within walking distance - we loved; Barbacoa, Merah Putih and Sarong (best book). We can't speak highly enough and we'll certainly be back. Thanks for sharing such an amazing place - we came away relaxed, refreshed and with a bucket load of magic moments and memories.
