We stayed at Saudara 2 in February 2021, with our 2 year old for a month. Simply put, we can’t really find anything bad to say about the villa even if we try.
The location was perfect for us, very central to supermarkets, malls, retail shops, all sorts of restaurants, high end beach clubs, little warungs, ice cream shops, you name it. We were there during the pandemic where Seminyak was relatively quiet, it was perfect for our little family. I can imagine when everything’s back in action, it’d be a great option for those looking for proximity to exciting F&B and entertainment outlets.
The staff (Wayan, Putu and the rest of the team) were very helpful, responsive and polite. With their support, you really don’t have much to worry about. Apart from the housekeeping and maintenance, they even helped us with getting a bike, and sourced another bike rental company for us when we weren’t happy with the first, found and lent us a child helmet, brought us cooler, pool toys, provided us with local knowledge and most importantly, were always there when we needed help.
The villa suited us very well. We felt it was safe for our 2 year old to go about her own things by herself as every corners were visible to us when we were spending time in the pool/living areas. The third room became our child’s hangout, with tv and toys. Kitchen was well-fitted out, all appliances provided.
All in all, Bali is a great holiday destination, but having a well suited accommodation added so much to our happy memories. Thank you Saudara, hope to see you again soon.
