Went for the tranquility. Was suprised by all the fun we had. Took my 89 yo mom and 15yo granddaughter. The fishing was active. Lots of sunfish and one big trout. He was a fighter. Catch and release, of course. The paddle boat was magical. We laughed until our bellies hurt. Made friends feeding baby turtles. One special one we named little man. He chased our bobbers until we gave him his own. Found peace watching the little family of muskrat. The bounding, we did just sitting on the deck, was worth the entire trip. Left with full hearts and smiling faces. PS don't let your teen use google maps. Follow Rob's directions exactly!!

We had a nice quiet getaway this place is a great place to get away from all the bells and whistles we enjoyed the fresh air and then nice cool evening out on the deck had fun walking with the dogs and they enjoyed the pond it would be a a place we would go again

Cabin was just what Rob described over the phone, everything we needed the cabin had. Heat, running water and a hot shower. They had additional blankets, eating utensils, plates and a coffee maker which helped us as we did not have to pack additional items for our 1 week stay, space was limited in our truck as we had (3) guys and gear.We did not get to spend much time at the cabin, except for breakfast, sleeping and supper. Other than that we were out exploring all that Nebraska has to offer. Good location, reasonably priced and centrally located to lots of public land. From what we experienced Rob and his family are honest, good natured people and they will do what they can to make your stay enjoyable!

This a a great get away beutiful vistas small clean lake to catch a variety of fish trout to Bass. The queen bed was comfortable the fold out couch could be updated price was right. Kids loved the paddle boat.

Great little cabin for the price. Very courteous hosts. Thouroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

This place was beautiful. Owners were very nice and keep the place beautiful as possible it looked like. We would go back and our dog enjoyed being able to go with us

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin and it exceeded our expectations! We were not sure what we were coming to as we had found this place by accident. We were only disappointed in the fact we could pull fish from the pond as they had just restocked it and the little guys were not ready to be fished out yet. The hotplate in the cabin is really not needed as the grill they provide has a side burner and worked perfect for all of our needs. We are looking forward to coming back to the cabin again. Hope the weather will be more cooperative this time!

If you are looking for an adorable cabin with lots of privacy, this place is perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed just hanging around the pond and feeding/watching all the trout. You won't be able to find a better deal than this place! Our dog would also highly recommend it!

I enjoyed the place very much. My only complaint is against the weather. It ended up being colder than I had planned so I couldn't go hiking, but that is not the cabin's fault. I plan to go again when it is warmer. Otherwise I had a blast there getting away from the world. The poor cell reception was a plus and a minus.
