    The apartment is in the village of Sternes, on the beautiful Akrotiri peninsula in Western Crete. It is set within a small prestigious development of 12 apartments in the village, a large sharing swimming pool, gardens and BBQ. It situated about 20 minute drive from the historic Venetian city of Chania, also known as 'little Venice' and a 8 minute drive from the airport. The apartment is set within a small, secluded development of just 12 apartments. Set in fully landscaped gardens, it shares a large swimming pool and has private parking. The apartment enjoys wonderful mountain views and is only minutes away from superb golden sandy beaches. The apartment enjoys wonderful mountain views and is only minutes away from superb golden sandy beaches. The apartment consists of an open plan living area and kitchen with direct access to the patio and shared swimming pool. It has 2 bedrooms, both sharing a large tiled shower room. The main bedroom has a double bed with drawers and the second bedroom has 2 single beds. Each bedroom has built-in wardrobes with hangers. It is is fitted with a solar panel ensuring hot water at all times, air conditioning in the living room area, insect screens, washing machine, a fully equipped kitchen, free WiFi internet and satellite TV. We also provide everyday useful equipment such as a hairdryer, airer, iron and ironing board, all kitchenware etc. Outside there is a covered terrace with dining area, a large 60m2 shared swimming pool, shower and BBQ surrounded by grassed lawns and garden areas. We also provide a welcome pack on your arrival including wine and fruit. Sternes is a beautiful unspoiled Cretan village. It boasts amazing views across Souda bay and the White Mountains with numerous quiet, 'blue flag awarded' golden sandy beaches nearby. The beautiful beaches of Marathi and Loutraki are a few minutes away from the apartment and all have lovely fish restaurants and beach bars. Marathi is a lovely golden sand beach which has to be visited and the area is perfect for relaxing with many monasteries and caves waiting to be explored in the mountain range which runs along the length of the peninsular. There are plenty of local supermarkets, restaurants and bars offering local and international cuisine as well as places for horse riding, sailing and scuba diving nearby.     Lovely

    Sternes Crete

    One of the best holidays we have been on can't wait to go again great food great bars fantastic weather lovely locals lots of places to visit
