My husband and I stayed here with our 8 year old daughter. The apartment is conveniently close to Whitefish and Glacier National Park, yet in a secluded, peaceful setting. It was fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Martha was very knowledgeable about the parks and trails in the area, and things to do in town. I would definitely recommend!

Great stay.
This is a very nice and quiet place to stay. It was very comfortable. You do have steps up into apartment. Saw deer every day behind the apartment. We also saw a black bear leaving the apartment. The only negative thing I would say is we had no phone service. You do have WiFi and this helped because you could Face Time and messenger people you needed to contact.

Hi Steven, I’m sorry you didn’t let me know about your cell service, when we were chatting, I could have fixed that for you. There is a booster in the apartment, which sometimes requires you to actively seek a signal by rebooting your phone at the box.

Astonishing accomodation
In september 2015 we stayed for 3 nights in the cosy cottage appartment.
It was really a soothing place to stay,.
Everything yo needed was present in the house.
The owner Jim was helpfull in everything we asked for.
It was one of the most pleasant places we stayed during our vacation in Canada and the USA.
We will certainly recomand this accomodation to other guests and at our next visit to Montana we will certainly return again to this place.

Home away from home.
Everything one needs is there. Ample room to unpack and hand up clothes. Nice flat screen TV, excellent WiFi and and a lovely deck to enjoy morning coffee and evening dinner. The deer could be seen going behind the apartment both in the morning and evening. The deck table with umbrella provided a shady spot in the afternoon and we used the gas grill almost every night. The washer and dryer was a huge bonus! The owners have thought of just about everything. They provided us with information about grocery stores and fly fishing shops prior to our arrival which was very helpful. We prefer staying at VRBOs as I enjoy cooking which also saves money. The location is a quick 10 minutes from town but once one is there if feels like miles away; peaceful and relaxing with an occasional train heard going by.

Absolutely Wonderful
My husband and I enjoyed being out of the city and hotel environment. The cottage was exactly as picture! We LOVED it! The deer are there morning and evening which my husband enjoyed while drinking coffee and the stars are amazing at night!

Peaceful...
Loved watching the deer feed while drinking coffee on the deck early every morning. Martha and Jim are very nice hosts they respect your privacy. We participated in Whitefish Arts Festival and stayed a few extra days to see Montana. Glacier National Park was stunning and we highly recommend Logan Pass where we saw 3 mountain goats. The rental is beautifully decorated and great for 2 people. We enjoyed our stay very much - a peaceful place after a busy day working the fine art show. We hope to return again soon!

Small,yet cozy home for two.
I never had the chance to meet Martha, but I could tell from the minute my friends and I walked in she was an amazing person who genuinely cared for the people she rented to. Even though the cabin only fits two, my two friends and I decided we couldn't pass it up. We let Martha know that 3 would be staying, to which she agreed to, and told her we would bring an air mattress. But when we got there she had been kind enough to provide us with an actual mattress next to the bed! I was blown away by her generosity. Not only was the bedding arranged for us, but the cabin was incredibly clean. She even provided shampoo and conditioner in case we needed any. The kitchen was perfect for making our college kid version of gourmet dinners and the internet was incredibly fast. The deck offered an extra eating area and great views. And the location was perfect. Don't get me worng, you have to drive quite a distance to get anywhere in Montana hahaha, but this cabin offered a genuine feeling of being comfortably isolated while being within reason of the GORGEOUS Whitefish area. My friends and I had such a hard time saying goodbye to this wonderful place. I would HIGHLY suggest anyone to stay here. Lord knows I'd go back in a heart beat, if it wasn't already booked!!

Great weekend relaxing
This was truly a great cosy cottage. My girlfriend and I are both wildlife biologists in southwest Montana, and with glacier closed we had no ultimate goal of a place to go, and this place was a perfect weekend away and we never left, we were either on the porch drinking coffee or bbqing and drinking wine, watching the deer in the field, or lounging inside reading and enjoying the view. As a Montana person, this was a great stay for a great price. Thanks for having it available Martha!

We loved it!
Cosy Cottage is a very nice place to stay. We really enjoyed our 3 nights there. It is close enough to the sites in the area to be convenient but it is tucked away in a country setting so it is quiet and refreshing. It is private and extremely clean, neat and well kept.
Thank you Martha and Jim.
