About the neighborhood
Glasfryn is ideal for families, couples or groups of friends who want to visit the local area, walk the coastal path or use it as a base to explore west Wales.

St Dogmaels boasts a village shop, a post office, a chip shop and two pubs which serve great food - all within easy walking distance. The Coach House Visitor Center at St Dogmaels Abbey (visible from the cottage) houses a cafe and gift shop and is also the location for the award-winning Tuesday market.

Poppit Sands and its fantastic beach cafe (try the lifeguard special panini!) is under two miles away and the town of Cardigan is a 20-30 minute walk in the opposite direction where there are shops, places to eat, river tours and Cardigan Castle to explore.
Getting around
For local transport, the Poppit Rocket is a bus service which passes through the village between Cardigan and Newport via Poppit Sands. Ask in the village shop or post office for updated time tables.
