The garden makes an excellent venue for a special celebration or party. These properties are ideal for family or friends that want to holiday together. Only a 5 min drive away is the beautiful little village of Mijas, which nestles comfortably in the mountainside at 428 meters above sea level. 7km away you can enjoy all of the usual beach activities in Fuengirola. We recommend to maximise your sightseeing and shopping experience that you hire a car but if not there is a regular bus service between Mijas and Fuengirola just a short 5 min walk away. The property can sleep up to 22 when using the three sofa beds in Villa bedroom 1, 2 and in the games room but there will be a fee per person for more than 18 guests.

Interaction with guests:Â We will be there to personally hand over your keys. show you around and talk you through everything you need to know at the villa. There is also an information pack for both the villa and the apartment with full instructions, restaurant recommendation, phone numbers, days out etc. We will also be there at check out too. Occasionally if we are travelling you will be met by a good friend of ours who will be available to you during your stay.
Stayed at La Jacaranda late May for a week with 21 family members, and what can I say, the property certainly did not disappoint! It’s an absolutely stunning villa with beautiful views, great size, very clean, nice pool, and the owner Debbie was a second to none host… so efficient & helpful she really made the whole booking process a doddle, and throughout our stay if we had any queries she would respond within a short time via whatsapp.
Getting about the area around the villa was made fairly easy by the regular buses at the top of the road (which was around a 5 minute walk away). The bus going up the hill which was only a short bus ride takes you to the picturesque hillside town of Mijas. When staying at La Jacaranda you can’t miss the opportunity of visiting this beautiful unspoilt place, despite many people being around when we visited 2 or 3 times it didn’t feel overly busy nor commercialised by any means, so it’s a real gem. Even the children in our party (aged from 8 months to 8 years old) really enjoyed it there what with plenty of tasty eatery’s, ice cream shops, a nice play area up by the church, and stunning views along the hill walls and gardens, so the town was good for all ages really, and importantly as well felt very safe. Going from the villa again but taking the bus down the hill on the opposite side of the road takes you to Fuengirola (approx a 15 minute bus ride) which was a nice seaside area, again good for all ages as the beach felt clean with nice sand, it’s more commercialised as it’s a large place but didn’t seem overcrowded or spoilt by holiday makers by any means at the time of year we went (I can’t comment how it would be for any other time of year though as it was our first time this side of Malaga).
Anyway, in summary, we had a fantastic stay at La Jacaranda and spending time in the local area, and hope we can return again at some point in the future as either a large family stay or a group of friends. Thank you Debbie for letting your wonderful house out! :-)

Fantastic villa
I have just returned from a holiday in La Jacaranda and I loved every minute of it. For me it was the perfect villa, there was 25 of us on holiday and I was worried about people having there own space however the villa is that big it was easy to relax by yourself. The location means you are close enough to find easy transport to either Mijas or fuengirola but also out the way of any busy main road which is perfect when you have small kids. The fact that Debbie was always at hand to answer any questions prior to going and also helping to return items that were left, is a very special touch and gives it that personal touch you don't get at hotels. I can't recommend this Villa highly enough and will definitely be back. Will miss those stunning views from the pool side. Until next time..

Amazing property at excellent location
We had an amazing stay in La Jacaranda. It is really big, has all equipment you need and has a truly amazing view. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy a nice holiday around Malaga. Many thanks to Debbie and Simon.

Espectacular views
19 of us had a fantastic time at this villa. The rooms are lovely and the views of the mountains and coast are spectacular. Seeing the sunrise and sunset from one of the many terraces is a treat!
Debbie the owner, is fabulous and she made the whole process stress free. We highly recommend this villa for a large group of friends and family. We would love to go back. The location is perfect, quiet but within very easy access to explore the Costa del Sol.

Such a beautiful place
Me and my friends had the most wonderful time staying at La Jacaranda. The house is beautiful and the views are exceptional. Mijas is such a cute and pretty areas of Spain. So many great places to eat and lots of little gift shops. You can spend hours strolling up and down the white washed lanes and coming across more bars and cute little shops. Debbie is the perfect host. Her communication leading up to the holiday was brilliant and during our stay she was so helpful with information about surrounding areas and transport etc. I think the cost of staying at la Jacaranda is extremely reasonable and we would definitely go again!

Great holiday
We stayed at la jacaranda for a week and it was home from home. It has absolutely everything you need for an relaxed villa holiday. The outside area at the front of the property is great of an evening to sit, chill, play table tennis, board games and bbq. The kitchen had a great supply of equipment , sharp knives, cooking utensils, Loads of crockery and cutlery, we had a weening baby with us and there was even a hand blender so his mum was able to make fresh food for him. Debbie was a great host, a couple of our party members asked for an early check in only a few days before we arrived and she did everything she could to accommodate this as well as meeting us on leaving the villa. We had an amazing time at la jacaranda and if we had the opportunity to all go on holiday together again we would definitely consider going back x

The PERFECT PLACE
Words cannot express what a gem La Jacaranda is, but I will try! We recently stayed for 5 days with our families and had our wedding here. We are from the States and booked La Jacaranda site-unseen and prayed that the pictures were a true reflection of the space... It was more than I could have dreamed of! The home was large enough to accommodate our wedding of 35 people and very comfortably slept 15 people. It was very clean and the grounds were impeccably kept. The location is great - very close to the center of Mijas, the beach, restaurants, and grocery stores. This place is perfect for large group gatherings. We grilled out one day, had a pool party another day, and of course our wedding. Our hosts Debbie and Simon were remarkable - They have a binder in the home that could answer any possible question and were so easily accessible by phone and email. Communication with them was easy and very prompt and they are such kind people. I know others are also having weddings here so if you're contemplating it don't hesitate! We had our ceremony on the main terrace, dinner in the garden, cocktail hour on the front terrace, and dancing back on the main terrace. Our guests could not believe their eyes and we could not be happier with the decision to book this villa. Thank you Debbie and Simon!!!!

Absolutely perfect, amazing stay
We stayed here for almost a week at the end of April with a large group of family and friends to celebrate our wedding....and we could not have hoped for a better venue or location, the pictures do not do it justice, it's perfect.
We were looking for somewhere to stay which could also accommodate our ceremony, after a lot of searching we came across Debbie's place and made some enquiries-from our first communication Debbie could not have been more helpful and accommodating, she answered every question really quickly and gave us loads of advice and local hints and tips.
The villa itself is stunning, it fit 23 of us more than comfortably across the bedrooms with plenty of communal space and loads of outdoor areas , it never felt too crowded. The rooms are lovely, particularly the master suites with views to die for! Pool area is great, again loads of room and there's also a play area for kids and a lovely peaceful garden area.
We held our ceremony on the large sun terrace, overlooking the hills down to the sea. The pictures are awesome, and the experience unforgettable. We then had a BBQ meal round at the covered terrace at the front of the house, catered by Audrey who was recommended to us by debbie who was also fabulous!
This villa is ideal for small to large groups for any purpose really, but a cracking venue for a wedding or other special event. We can't thank debbie enough for everything and would highly recommend it....thanks again Debbie!

Homely stay
La Jacaranda has a very homely feel. It's not a show-home where you daren't touch anything in case you leave a mark, but that's good as far as I'm concerned. You had the feeling it was your own place and my guests were coming to stay with me. The gardens are excellent, as are the views. A great place to relax and have fun.

Excellent, again!
This was our second visit here and like before, it was perfect! Like coming home. Highly recommending this villa, you won’t be dissappointed. And I have a strong feeling it was not last visit...

We recommend that you hire a car to make the most of sight seeing and for convenience for shopping etc. However we do have a bus stop at the end of our road that has a regular bus service to both Mijas Pueblo and Fuengirola. Fuengirola has a train station that has a service to Benalmadena, Plaza Mayor, Airport and Malaga Central and a few more stops in-between. We also have a reliable taxi service in Mijas Pueblo who knows where we are. Therefore if you don't want to drive then there are plenty of transport options.

How to get there
1.On leaving Málaga airport following all signs to Algeciras which will take you onto the A7(N340) – DO NOT GO TOWARDS MALAGA . Stay on the A7 (N340) in the direction Algerciras for about 15km. Keep going until you see junction 214 at which point the A7(N340) forks, the left fork going off to the toll road and the right fork remaining on the old road signed Fuengirola/Algeciras. Do not get into the middle lane but keep right at this fork. About 1 Km after this fork the road forks again to the right at junction 213. Take this slip road signed Fuengirola/Mijas (black on white sign). At the end of the slip road is a large roundabout. Turn right at this roundabout towards Mijas. (A387). Drive straight on towards Mijas - straight on over three roundabouts. The first has three olive trees, the second three other trees (not sure what!!) and the third three olive trees again. Road turns into dual carriageway (overtaking lane) – after first roundabout – after the third one you go round 3 or 4 bends and take first right into our estate - Los Espartales II. (There is a white wall with all the house names on, and four different coloured bins). Go straight down the road and round a right hand bend. Carry on straight and bare left up a small hill. We are first house round the left bend. Park outside second gate on the left. Its easier than its sounds!! Full address is: La Jacaranda, Urb Los Espartales 12, Mijas 29650
