A perfect stay!
It was serendipitous for us to stay at Barsac. We had to quickly change plans - whilst already away - from 3 nights in San Sebastián thanks to a change in Covid guidelines.
Barsac is beautiful, comfortable and welcoming. We stayed in the 2 B&B rooms with our 3 children and had the tower bathroom and the stunning outside balcony/lounge/loggia to ourselves.
The breakfasts are perfectly matched to the surroundings and serves on full tea service. The children were excited to go down for breakfast each morning.
The garden at Barsac is a highlight and beautifully kept.
Madame Vidal is a wonderful host and we were sad to leave. Barsac will still in all our memories and hearts for a long time to come.

A treasure on the Périgord map
If Périgord is a treasure chest then Michele and her abode are its Crown Jewels. We stayed here for two nights and didn’t want to leave. The location is good for exploring Périgord and although you are near an accessible main road, you can hear all pin drop, Michele’s place is so quiet.
Her breakfasts are like a fairytale and she goes to great lengths to ensure your breakfast is tasty and home-made.
As for the rooms, the pictures don’t do them justice. You have to stay to appreciate them.
Thank-you Michele for a lovely stay. I can’t wait to go back.

Je suis ravie que vous ayez apprécié mon accueil .j aime créer l enchantement pour une période de repos attendue dans une vie trepidante.
A barsac l environnement est préservé des nuisances actuelles et les grands sites touristiques.ne sont jamais loin
Mes jardins participent à. La poésie du lieu.les fleurs agrementent mes petits déjeuners.....c est un plaisir de vous accueillir!

Absolument remarquable
Accueil très chaleureux,
Petit déjeuner très copieux et raffiné avec des produits frais, maison et Bio.
De grandes chambres spacieuses et très confortables, une literie haut de gamme.
La maison d'Angel, ainsi que la maison principale sont remarquablement restaurées, et décorées avec goût.
Un accueil vraiment chaleureux et convivial, des échanges très agréables avec la maitresse de maison :)
Bref : Un lieu ou il fait bon vivre et se reposer

A lovely little country house
Coming from Australia it was pleasantly surprising that a farm house that was several hundred years old could be converted to a comfortable and charming accommodation. The place was well appointed, clean and quirky in a nice way. The French breakfasts provided by the owner Michele were fantastic and the surrounding country side is some of the most beautiful in France with lots of tiny villages and famous caves.

BARSAC est le resultat d'un travail passionnant pour la sauvegarde d'un vestige du pass� (gentilhommiere de 1680).la renovation s'est faite dans le respect des criteres architecturaux perigourdins

Un rêve
Nous avons séjourné à deux reprises dans ce lieu enchanteur. Le lieu est à la fois typique et contemporain. La loggia est superbe : le soir de petites bougies sont à disposition et le matin le petit déjeuner gargantuesque et délicieux y est servi. L'accueil de Mme Vidal est attentionné tout en discrétion : pile ce qu'il faut ! Nous y retournerons, sans doute cette fois dans l'autre lieu d'accueil : la maison d'Angel.

Enchanteur
Un accueil discret et attentionné. Un lieu superbe, entretenu à merveille avec un jardin de curé digne des illustrations botaniques les plus jolies.
Le petit déjeuner servi dans la ravissante loggia offre un réveil doux à souhaits.
La chambre est parfaite, le couchage excellent, la décoration sobre et agréable, la salle de bains tout en rondeur et très bien pensée.
Y aller les yeux fermés!

Un Lieu Magnifique
Un lieu magnifique, enchanteur , une décoration de très bon gout et avec beaucoup de style. Des petits déjeuners de rêves... une hote attentive... tout était parfait ... deux petites choses peut être ... la baignoire très belle et originale... mais vraiment pas pratique. Les coordonnées GPS du Lieux à mettre en avant sur le site internet.
