Wow
What impressed most was the cleanliness, the very high standard of the accomodation as in equipment and the outside space at the rear.

Perfect Getaway
Such a wonderful house - my parents have been coming here for years and inviting us children to join as and when we like. The first time we took our children I've never known them to be so clean as they tried out all the different bathrooms! Now it's just Mum, but has some fab memories. The pub on the beach is great, and Bude is a lovely seaside town. We recommend the Beach Hotel for food. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic, 5-star accommodation
We have just returned from what can only be described as a fantastic week at St.Johns View. Absolutely beautiful, modern, family-friendly accommodation with views to die for! Clean, well-equipped, and perfect for access to many places worth visiting. You can walk to the beach/ cafe / pub but the hill is incredibly steep. However worth a visit! Loved it and will definitely return again.

Honeymoon Heaven
Me and my fiancé went on multiple trips for our honeymoon and Cornwall was our last stop. We saved the most beautiful house till last! The house was incredibly clean and the decor was very tasteful. It was the perfect setting, a balcony facing out to the lovely green scenery of Cornwall, a living room filled with the warmth of the old school fire and an unbelievable kitchen for when I wanted to treat my other half to a lovely meal. Steve was very helpful with us when we was deciding which weekend to stay and he also told us to go on walks with some of the best views you can get in the South of England. Clean house, tasteful decor, beautiful exterior, and a more than ideal location. Worth every single penny I paid. Will be coming again.

Rent
Had a lovely stay here with some friends. Holiday cottage was beautiful, so modern and a great design! Had everything we could have asked for and more! Walking distance to the local pub and beach which was very ideal. Would definitely recommend this to anyone - great price for the area as well!

Thank you for your kind review and recommendations - The pub and beach being just 1mile away are always enjoyed. Just a shame about the hill on the way back!

No flexibility!
Unfortunately we had an emergency in the family and could not attend. We paid in full ahead of time and the owner refused to offer any Flexibility and wouldn't allow us to move the booking to another date. As a result we lost £700! I'm very disappointed that neither holiday lettings or the owner were able to help us. I won't be booking here again!

I am sorry you feel that way Daniel and feel that I have attempted to be as flexible as possible. You informed me on December 19th of the emergency, just 8 days before your holiday was due to begin. I explained at the time that due to the shortness of notice we would not be able to re let the property. At that time I offered any assistance I could such that you could claim against your travel insurance and in case of not being able to claim offered in goodwill a £200 discount against a further booking. On Dec 25th you confirmed that the rest of your family would be visiting but then I subsequently heard directly from them that they would not travel. In early January I followed up with you to ask if there was any further information you required and you requested confirmation of the cancellation such that you could claim via travel insurance, This I duly provided. As you can see, apart from this review we have never had an issue before. Kind Regards, Steve

Fabulous Property
The house looks great from inside and outside and is very spacious. It has everything we needed and it was all good quality. I wondered how warm it would be because of the large open plan downstairs but I needn't have worried. Very toasty. We will come back in the spring.

Wonderful views, peaceful location
St Johns View is a modern, comfortable house with beautiful countryside and ocean views. The rugged beach of Crackington Haven is close by and the Haven Cafe serves very tasty crab sandwiches. The beach provides some good rock pools for those wishing to look for small crabs and the surf provides a great workout. Nearby in Poughill, Margaret Frost makes the best cream teas ever at The Rustic Tea Gardens.
