Our unique Lodge is located within a quiet corner of our small farm and sleeps 2 adults, 1 dog (other pets by special arrangement). Below you will find the features of the Lodge:  Spacious Lodge with open plan kitchen/diner  Bedroom – King Size bed with luxury mattress in a roomy bedroom with large fitted wardrobes and bedside tables, lamps with chargers and TV fitted on the wall  Large walk-in shower with adjustable and fixed head  Fully fitted kitchen including fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave, gas hob & fan assisted oven  40″ TV & DVD player in the lounge  Private grassed area  Double glazed, winter insulation and central heating with an additional fire  Parking directly outside the Lodge  Patio area which includes use of outdoor chairs, table, parasol and charcoal b...Our unique Lodge is located within a quiet corner of our small farm and sleeps 2 adults, 1 dog (other pets by special arrangement). You may experience connection difficulties; this is due to the rural location and beyond our control (average speed is 19mbps).  2 mile off road walking to Skipwith village, Skipwith Common or The Drovers Arms Wildlife We really think this is a special place and while we have been working down there, we have seen the following wildlife in the field and beyond:  Barn Owl  Little Owl  Red Kite  Redwing  Fieldfare  Cuckoo  Woodpecker  Oystercatchers  Sparrows  Deer

About the neighborhood
The Lodge is located in a quiet corner of our small farm and you can walk to Skipwith village across the countryside. From there you can either call in at The Drovers Arms (subject to opening hours) or continue your walk to Skipwith Common. You can also drive to the Common as there are a few car parks around the area. For the rainy days there is York Designer Outlet or Elvington Air Museum, both within half an hour drive (subject to traffic).
Getting around
The best way to see the sights locally is either by car or bicycle. You can also catch the Park and Ride to go into York from the York Designer Outlet.
