This is a great location for all your vacation desires. 150 feet of private beachfront. Sand based lake, so you can see the bottom up to about 9 feet. Great lake for Bass fishing. Incredible space both indoor and out. Spend time swimming in the lake, Roast Marshmallows in the fire pit, Take a nap in the hammock and let the kids play on the swing-set. Corn Hole set, big block Jenga, Bocci Balls, Basketball Court, 2 Kayaks, 2 Paddle Boats and a canoe. And at the end of the day you can take a stroll up the road and walk in the cherry orchard or the vineyard. Almost everything you could imagine is right at your finger tips. The open floor plan and screened in porch are great for relaxing and taking a break from the sun and excitement outside.. Perfect for a family or a group of friends to meet up and enjoy time together.

Pets are welcome but please keep your dogs in the yard. The family to the left of the house is very afraid of dogs and have called the police.
This is our 3rd time renting this Cozy Cottage on Lake Cora. We have enjoyed every visit! We have never been disappointed! The cottage has always been very clean and has plenty of room and things for everyone to do. The owner has always been so welcoming and nice. Looking forward to our next vacation!

Lake front
Already planning on when we will be going back. Had such an amazing time. Peaceful and relaxing on rainy days and fun in the sun on sunny days. Perfect mini vacation! Barbara always responded quickly to emails and the house was equipped with pretty much everything.

Fabulous lake front home
Can't say enough good things about this property. The photos don't do it justice. The house itself is spacious with plenty of beds and space for everyone to spread out. The kitchen is well equipped with the basics and beyond. Seems like every day we discovered a new feature we hadn't realized was there. Having the boats (2 kayaks, 2 paddle boats, and 1 canoe) available to use whenever we wanted them was awesome. And our son proposed to his girlfriend on the dock and she said yes! We would love to stay there again!

Woodsy sanctuary
This rental is quiet and peaceful. Under a shady wooded canopy of trees, it feels very secluded, even though there are neighbors. so many fun things available to do, including kayaks and a canoe, yard games galore and plenty of TVs if you can tear yourself away from the great outdoors. Lots of space so you don’t feel like you’re on top of each other and if you need a moment away you will definitely be able to find it. Great for kids, nice easy entry beach area with shallow water and encircled by the dock and swim pad. Be sure to bring your bug spray!

Church Retreat
We loved our stay. The property had everything you could possibly need or want. We swam,used kayaks, paddle boats, fire pits at night. Very spacious and secluded. We definately will come back and highly recommend this place to others. Thank you for making this a wonderful retreat.

Perfect Lake front Cottage!
We were very happy with our stay! House is spacious and clean. Our teenage boys had a great time fishing, kayaking, swimming and paddle boating. House is perfect for a relaxing vacation for adults and lots of things to do for the kids. Couldn't ask for more!

Going back
We stayed for a weekend in September to see if we would be interested in renting it next summer. We fell in love with the place as soon as we got out of the car, The view, the grounds, the nature, everything was what we were looking for in a vacation rental. There is plenty of room for a large group but not too big for just a couple. Comes complete with just about every amenity you could require. Kayak, canoe, paddle boats, games, movies, books, hiking and more.
We will definitely be back again next summer and for a longer stay to take advantage of all this place and surrounding area has to offer.

Summer Rental
My wife, Kids and grand kids had a great time, even though the weather didn't cooperate. Lots of things to do... Wish we would have had a jet ski or boat though. Maybe next time. I would recommend the house for any family trip. I really liked the screened porch. Barbara was very nice and it was reasonably priced.

Great Lake house!
Our family loved this vacation spot on Lake Cora! The home is well maintained, the lake is clean and beautiful. The owner responds quickly to questions and really cares about providing a great get-away. We will definitely return!

Great lakefront getaway!
We had a great week at this house. It had lots of room for the various groups of friends and family we hosted with cookouts and swimming. The kitchen is large and fully stocked with dishes, bowls, pans, etc. Nothing was missing. There were a lot of lawn chairs so everyone had a seat. The only thing that would be helpful would be adding a hand rail to the front and back steps. Some of us have a little difficulty with steps and it would have been helpful. Overall had a great time and would recommend this place.

Lake Cora, a deep, clear, sand bottomed spring fed lake of about 200 acres surrounded by hills and forest. The cottage is on the north side of the lake which means hard sand beach, gorgeous sunsets with evening bonfires. Close to many short jaunts to Lake Michigan beach towns, local wineries, friendly restaurants and the new Four Winds Casino in Hartford an easy 10 mile drive.
