Beds: 2 Double Beds, 5 Twin Beds
We wanted someplace that would entertain our 16 and 11 year old and still be relaxing for us. The amenities on site were just what we needed and every detail was though of. A quick 10 minute drive to visit Otsego Lake one day and to the Elk Park the other was just enough to break up the days.
We had some scheduling issues on our end and the owner was very accommodating and helpful with a question or 2 while we were there.
We would definitely come back and have already suggested it to a friend!

Relaxing Oasis
My boyfriend and I stayed for the weekend. The house was decorated for Christmas, it felt so warm and comforting. The hot tub was awesome, the bed was extremely comfy, the house was clean and had everything you would possibly need for an amazing stay. I never felt more relaxed in my life. My soul is rejuvenated after staying at this lovely home. We will most definitely be coming back. Worth every penny and a great price for all that's included. Thank you Carol for making us feel so welcomed! 😁

Excellent place to stay to get away!
My husband and I booked a short stay for our anniversary getaway. From the time we booked to the end of our stay, Carol was very helpful and available to answer any questions. We arrived later in the evening and everything was well lit for us. The house was clean and hot tub was ready! There was delivery options for food nearby, so not having to leave was another plus for us. We enjoyed the other amenities/activities this home had to offer, as well. The activities definitely kept us entertained. Staying here was a lovely way to shut the world off and get away from it all. This rental has everything! We hope to return sometime. Thanks Carol, for sharing your home with us and for your excellent service.

Peaceful retreat
The minute we pulled in to the community we were in awe of the beauty. The owner was amazing and the house has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Definitely recommend, it was a wonderful weekend.

Whispering Pines
Great house! Perfect location! It provides everything needed for a living as far as furniture, appliances, houseware is concerned.
Landlord is great! Everything went smooth, no issues at all. Just a perfect place to be.

Cabin in the woods
I have never booked a rental home to stay in. I found it was cheaper than a hotel. We were i Gaylord for a family member's wedding. The place was wonderful!! The owner was a phone call away. If you are not familiar with the area, she had a box full of goodies to point you to the best places to eat, attractions and more. Will be going back there in the near future. Best place to get away if you want to get away. Thank you Ms.Carol!!!

Very Comfortable!
This was a great spot for myself and my adult children to spend some time together. Carol's home is very cozy and felt like home. We used the kitchen a lot - very well equipped. My only complaint was that we were short one bed. There were seven of us but only two double beds and two twin beds which is different than the listing says. Thankfully my son didn't mind sleeping on the couch. We really enjoyed our time in this winter wonderland and would like to come back!

I switched out 2 livingroom couches (sofa beds) with 2 regular couches, but there is a twin air mattress with auto pump behind the loveseat under the front window and there is a twin rollaway bed in basement for more sleeping.

Great rental while preparing for wedding
My now wife and I rented this property in September 2016 for a location that us and family could stay while preparing for the wedding. The house had all the amenities that really made it feel like a northern Michigan home. Great decor and the area was quiet and peaceful. We did run into a couple of issues with the upstairs shower not transiting from the tub faucet to the shower head and the hot tubs filter was floating inside the tub when we went in causing white particles to gradually float when the jets were turned on. We mentioned both of these to the owner who was more than understanding.Everything else about the property was spot on and I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful northern Michigan experience.

The shower upstairs can be turned on by pulling down on the faucet head (plunger)--it's a bit tricky if you don't know what to look for.The white particles in hot tub were pieces of escaped sanitizing tablets,

great northern MI locations
My husband and I spent about 6 weeks at this comfortable and convenient Gaylord MI location. We are avid golfers and this area is "Golf Central". We could use the neighborhood's own golf course, Michaywe, or book one of the many courses located within an hour's drive of our place. We ended up playing many fine tracks, including Black Lake, Elk Ridge, Forest Dunes, Harbor Springs CC,Gaylord CC, Treetops, Cedar River,Dunmaglass--you get the picture! We will be back next year to try some more. We also had family and friends join us for long weekends. There was plenty of room and all kinds of sight seeing to do in the immediate area. All in all a comfortable stay. You cant go wrong. The owner is conscientious and hospitable and so is her place.

We had a terrific vacation in your adorable home.
We arrived at your home and there wasn't a speck of snow. So we thought about all the things we could do without snow up north. But, we didn't have to wait long in deciding, because the very next day we had over a foot of snow. It was beautiful, the woods behind your home was picture perfect. It looked like a postcard. We stayed at your house in September over the Labor day weekend so we knew that your house was well equipped, including a ping pong table, pool table, and extra helpful gadgets in your kitchen, just to mention a few things. The clubhouse association is really a nice perk with the pool, hot tub, and excellent restaurant/bar. We will definitely make plans to stay at your beautiful home again. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

Property is located Gaylord's Michaywe resort community. Gaylord is home to golfers, skiiers, snowmobilers, hikers, and campers. Gaylord has been known as a golf/ski mecca for years. Home is surrounded by pines. Michaywe itself offers its own golf course, clubhouse with full-service restaurant, swimming pools, sauna, and tennis courts as well as groomed cross-country skiing trails. Area features many ski lodges and golf courses--too many to list! Also MANY good restaurants in Gaylord!
Inn the Woods restaurant and bar in Michaywe clubhouse offers fine or casual dining. Seating overlooks golf course and Lake Michaywe. Gaylord offers MANY excellent dining opportunities.
