The BoatHouse is unique. Built and furnished in Cape Cod Cottage style, it sits literally right on Pleasant Bay with deck and stairs leading into the water. In the master bedroom look out across Pleasant Bay before you get out of bed. Full bathroom inside and delightful outside shower. Lounge, read and sun youself on the deck. Private courtyard with BBQ. Fully-equipped kitchen; new full size range and oven; new double-door fridge with icemaker, microwave, coffee-maker, etc. We provide linens. Off-street parking for 2 cars. Use of dock and mooring possible.
Absolutely fantastic stay, one of the most unique places to say in all of Cape Cod! We hope to make it an annual trip!
Topside BoatHouse on Pleasant Bay is an absolute must! The house is brimming with character and charm. Plus, the best view on Cape Cod and you don't even need to get in your car or wait in line at the beach. We enjoyed jumping off the dock, relaxing on floaties, and launching our paddle boards right from our front stairs. We had the BEST time and will absolutely be back. David is a great host - very accommodating and communicative. We truly cannot recommend this property enough!

So Magical
If you’re looking for a relaxing, peaceful, and entertaining vacation, this is the place! We’ve only ever visited in the fall and it’s my favorite time of year to be on the Cape. The spot is incredibly beautiful with blazing sunrises and sunsets, seal friend visitors, birds of all kinds, and great fishing! We spend most of the time just snuggled up with blankets staring out the big sliding doors at the ocean, and made some day trips out and about to the many surrounding little downtowns. The cottage itself is tiny but well appointed and so cozy. The deck and lounge chairs are a dream. Don’t hesitate if you’re looking to book, do it now! Just don’t take my October week :)

It doesn't get much better than this!
I stayed here on my honeymoon many years ago, and have returned every year since then. I could roll out of bed, onto the deck, and into the water without walking 5 steps! Pleasant Bay is much calmer than the ocean, and is ideal for swimming, canoeing/kayaking, sailing, wind-surfing. There is a beautiful clean, sandy beach a five minute walk from the deck. My daughter, her husband, and their two little girls have stayed here many times, and plan to return this year. Chatham and Orleans are only a ten minute drive away. This is Cape Cod living at it's best!
