Our home was at one time a wagon factory and blacksmith, through much renovation we have kept much of the integrity of this old building. The house is built of bricks made at the local brickyard, which is no more. The hand-hewn beams are still visible in our lounge, much of the original flooring is still upstairs and creaks to let you know that this home has old bones! We have lovingly tried to keep as much as possible of the old while incorporating some modern facilities, as private bathrooms for each of our bed & breakfast rooms. Allan is our artist in residence and creates hand-made art-glass jewelry with amazing silver decoration, described by patrons as 'mouth-watering'. Cosy B&B with lovely hosts. Lynn likes to make homebakes for breakfast like blueberry muffins and buckweatbuns. Mmmm, you can easily skip lunch.More

About the neighborhood
The town has remained small and quaint since first being settled in the 1820s. Conestogo is situated at the intersection of two rivers – Grand River and Conestogo Rivers The town was once known as Musselman’s Mills, eventually was renamed Conestogo in 1852. Due to gradual development of the town, it has maintained much original charm, including many architectural elements seen in the early 20th century. Some might say that Contesogo gives the impression of going back in time, to a more enjoyable way of life.
