Breezy in July and August is what Maine summers are about. Some times Southern air dominates with hot hazy days of summer. More often, though friendly Northern air, dry with 85 degree days cool nights are just about perfect.
September is off season and the best kept secret in Maine. Days are warm, nights are cool, and the lake is at its best.

At any time when staying at Breezy you have a bonus of fields and wood to walk or explore on the property. Travel a little and take in great shopping, antiquing, golf, watch the eagles and eaglets by boat (less than a mile away). In September good restaurants are still open but the crowds have taken their children back to school. In case of inclement weather you can relax in the Entertainment room. Keep up with sports, play cards, watch a movie or read a good book (we have a collection of books accumulated over the years - you can take a book, if you leave a book).

Amazing location! A lot to do for kids and adults. House felt like vacation with the deck overlooking the beach. Wonderful breeze in the afternoon. Owner was super nice and helpful. Definitely worth every penny and a return year after year.

The West Shore of Sebago is serviced by The Portland International Jetport (28 Miles). Amtrak by Transportation Hub in Portland (28 Miles) or by Car via the Maine Turnpike (24 Miles from Turnpike to Breezy Cottage).
By car:
Take Scarborough exit from Maine Turnpike, after exit turn left on Payne Road (1st traffic light). About 1 mile turn left on Route 114 (west) - there will be a Shaw's Market on right, gas station on far right and Sam's Club on far left.
Take 114 for about 23 miles until you come to the second sandy beach. Gemmes variety store is on right. Breezy Cottage is only 1 mile away. Follow 114 up the hill, turn right on Anderson Road. Third road on right is Highland Rd. House on right at the end of road is Breezy Cottage
