About the neighborhood
Camden Harbor is one of the most well known harbors on the East Coast.. Tour the waterfront and unique shops on Main Street. One mike from Lincolnville Beach and good restaurants for fresh Maine seafood. Mt. Battie has a beautiful view of Penobscot Bay. Get to the top by auto or hike. Lake Megunticook is a pretty lake, nice for swimming and fishing. Take a ferry to Vinal Haven from Rockland Harbor or take a ferry from Lincolnville Beach and visit Isleboro. Kayak rentals just down the street for a quiet, peaceful paddle on the water. Bike rentals in Camden.
Getting around
In Rockland Harbor is a Ferry you can take to Vinal Haven or North Haven which are two very fun Islands to visit. At the dock on Lincolnville Beach there is another Ferry to Islesboro another fun Island to see. Many famous Schooners can be seen at Camden Harbor. Maps and miscellaneous information from the Chamber of Commerce in the cabin.
