Quiet retreat with western exposure on crystal clear lake. Furnished in a comfortable rustic style. Bedrooms have queen bed, full bed and bunk over a futon. The living room showcases a wall of glass overlooking the lake. Ambiance is completed by a propane stove on opposing wall. Newly remodeled bathroom. Basement is finished with a game room including pool and foosball tables. Patio with chiminea for evening relaxation by the fire. Crystal Lake has been stocked with brook, brown and rainbow trout since 1989 by Maine Wildlife Fish and Game. Also frequently caught are bass, perch and pickerel. A dock is included for swimming, fishing or mooring a boat. Two kayaks available for leisurely paddles and close-up viewing of resident loons. Restful Lakeside home
This clean and relaxing cottage has comfortable beds and couches with a great little balcony to sit and have breakfast in the cool of the morning. The dock and lawn are perfect spots for enjoying the water or an evening fire while darkness descends. The location has access for heading north or south to the ocean or city, but I usually prefer staying put and reading or looking for the eagles and loans. Susan and Allen are great hosts.

Perfect Lakeside Retreat
After a week and a half of a busy vacation schedule we needed the peace this place provided. Beautifully placed on the lake with gorgeous sunsets. Lots of room, clean, and comfortable. You are not far from Portland. Well worth checking this place out. The owners are great to work with and will answer all your questions. If your looking for the way life should be in vacationland, this is great place to do it from!

Restful, Relaxing, Refreshing!
This beautiful, comfortable home on the lake has all the amenities you need with anything you might want nearby! A quiet place without being secluded. The waterfront has perfect access for adults and children from the shore with plenty of space for boats and kayaks from the dock. The owners are also nearby if you have a question. So much wildlife! We watched 2 eagles from the front porch! We will definitely be back!

A little slice of heaven
I have been coming to Crystal Cottage for my vacation for quite a few years now, and it always is a delight. The cottage is right on the water, with lots to do on the lake as well as locally. But mostly I don’t want to take day trips because I enjoy being on the lake so much. Just sitting on the balcony with a book and a bottle of water is an easy way to spend a summer day. The cottage itself has absolutely everything I’ve needed, including great kayaks and all the water floats you could possibly want. The cottage itself is neat and clean and ready to become home within an hour of my arrival. The new air conditioning unit was a welcome addition on those super hot days. Susan and Allen are wonderful, friendly, and helpful. I’ll never look elsewhere to vacation!

Wonderful stay
Crystal cottage was the perfect get-away for 3 friends. The home is spotless, fully equipped with everything you would need, and adorable. You can enjoy the lake view from the deck or the patio surrounding a chiminea. The owners have provided plenty of "lake toys" to enjoy the water, and the water is crystal clear. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer or more convenient place to spend a relaxing week on the water.

Honeymoon get away
Had a great honeymoon. Enjoyed sitting lake side and playing pool and Fooseball. Would recommend, very nice, clean space.

Wonderful
What a wonderful, relaxing spot on a crystal clean lake. The owner has really gone to lengths to make sure your stay is comfortable. The house has lots of charm with all the little touches. You really don't need to bring anything other than your clothes and food - everything else is there. Everything you would want for a lakeside vacation is here - kayaks, relaxing views from the deck or the chiminea, swimming, pool table, floats, grill, and more. The owner is very responsive and helpful.
