The brilliant red Cardinal is Kentucky's State Bird, one of many who live here year-round.
Visit beautiful Cumberland Falls about 45 mins away. On full moon nights you may see a moonbow!
Or a sunbow during the day!
There are some great trails by the Falls where you can get many different views of the Falls.
Heaven found at Rockcastle River. Many great hiking trails here. So many things2see & do in DBNF!
The Wild and Scenic Rockcastle River features Class I-IV Rapids and is beautiful any time of year.

Rural, rugged semi wilderness in the Daniel Boone National Forest. On a gravel road shared by 3 neighbors each over 1/10 mile away, the cabin sits on our 22 acre property which borders the Daniel Boone National Forest along the northwest boundary. It is midway between Wood Creek Lake & Laurel River Lake in the DBNF. This is a semi-wilderness location with hilly, rugged terrain w/many drop-offs & cliffs. Close attractions include Cane Creek WMA, London Dragway, Daniel Boone Motocross, Laurel & Woods Creek Lakes, Sinking Creek, Camp Wildcat, Camp Wildcat Harley, Flea Markets, Levi Jackson, Cumberland Falls, Wolf Creek Dam, Lake Cumberland, Pine Mountain, Red River Gorge, Natural Bridge, many scenic forest roads & more.
Getting around
A car is needed to get here, once here depending what you want to do, a car is necessary to visit the local attractions, but you are welcome to stay on the property and hike the woods here as well.

Exit 41 I-75 London, KY take Route 80 W approx. 5 miles. Make left at White Oak Road, drive 5 miles past the Daniel Boone National Forest sign into the forest past Pine Creek Church Rd, London Dragway, Dog Branch Rd, bear right at the fork passing Sinking Creek Missionary Baptist Church Meeting Hall on left. Make first right after the meeting hall onto gravel Thrash Rock Rd continue just over 1/10 mile straight past 2 driveways on right to cabin on the right.
