Region: Picturesque rolling Fens, unspoilt beaches, and pretty waterways – East Anglia is a dream holiday destination. Norfolk offers beaches, saltmarshes and quaint villages whilst equally as charming are the coast and countryside of Suffolk.
Town: Felsham is a pretty village which comes with a local shops, a pub and a church dating back to the 15th century. Within the surrounding area, you will find a magnitude of villages filled with a wealth of architecture spanning the decades and includes Ickworth House, built by the eccentric 4th Earl of Bristol and Melford Hall, a Tudor mansion once visited by Elizabeth I. Nearby attractions include the medieval town of Lavenham and Bury St. Edmunds.
If you want to escape from the world, then I'd fully recommend this place. Tucked away in the Suffolk countryside, but within easy reach of Bury St Edmunds, Grange Barn has everything. Spacious, clean and very friendly hosts. Within walking distance of the local pub and even horses that come over to say hello when you park your car. A real gem of a place!
