Great place!!
Beautiful, clean, tidy and quiet!! Close to everything but far enough away, also!! We had a great time! Will definitely be back!

Inviting, comfortable, peaceful, clean
I spent the weekend at Bill's Place cabin with two friends who aren't the outdoors type. This cabin offered them a relaxing, clean, homey, comfortable getaway. It offered me remoteness, a wonderful fire pit, proximity to the gorge, and a comfortable bed to sleep in. The cabin was perfect for us! The owners did a great job of furnishing this cabin and adding that fun personal touch that captures the attention of visitors with a variety of vacation plans. For example, for the first time in probably 20 years, I rode a bicycle. Why? Because it was there and it was inviting me to take a ride. I'm not a fan of gas fireplaces, but this cabin has one of the nicest that I've seen. That said, read the instructions! If you're looking for a place in the heart of the Red River Gorge, this cabin probably isn't your best option. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway and/or are comfortable with a 20 minute drive into the heart of the gorge, I think you would be hard pressed to find a nicer option.

Great Place! Loved it!
Beautiful house, with everything inside you need, and more. Good location. Jacuzzi is a big plus, even in summer. Will definitely come next year.

Relaxing Retreat
Had a relaxing time with my family. Very clean cabin and very helpful owner. Will return soon. The area is beautiful and the hiking trails at Red River Gorge are amazing.

About the neighborhood
The cabin is located near the end of Tip Top Road so it is very quiet. There is private parking on the property. Any vehicle type could access the property with no problem. The road is part blacktop, part gravel. You will be conveniently located near the main highway but will feel like you are miles away from it all. Located just 15 miles from Natural Bridge Park and Red River Gorge and just 4 miles from the Kentucky River in Beattyville, activities would include, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing, atv riding, ziplining, scenic drives, and much more.

How to get there
From Lexington: Take I64 East toward Winchester/Ashland. Take Mountain Parkway toward Campton. Take Exit 33 Slade/Beattyville. Turn right off exit onto Highway 11 southbound. Travel Highway 11 through Natural Bridge State Park then on for about 12 miles. Turn left onto Old Highway 11 when you reach a sign on the right side that reads 'Lee County Saddle Club' and one that reads 'Lee County Youth Sports'. Turn left then right onto Tip Top Road then stay to the right as road will fork. Travel about a mile on Tip Top Road and the cabin is on the right.
