My name is Joy Massey and my father was The General, famed Flying Tiger, and World War II ace who was born in the Appalachian foothills of Kentucky, I rehabbed the stunning cabin he built nestled in the woods,and have offered it for vacation rental the last 12 years. Private, peaceful, and just 12 miles from Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge. The one and only cabin on a private gated 40 acres. Lush woodland vistas out every room with a soaring wall of windows to capture the evening sunset.. The cabin was very nice. Very peaceful. Loved going to the pond and in the mornings hearing elk "bugle".

The General's Cabin is very easy to find. Out of Lexington, Kentucky take the Mountain Parkway to the cabin located on rural route 2016. From Lexington the drive takes about an hour and 15 minutes. The General's Cabin is located about 12 miles from Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park.
