You'll find us on Sandy's Beach, nestled between Red Point and Basin Head Provincial Parks, in one of the most beautiful areas of Prince Edward Island. Enjoy the beautiful private beach, the view of the ocean and the relaxing sound of the waves. Red Point is just east of Souris, PEI, within a thirty minute drive to Dundarave, Brudenell or Crow Bush (45 min) golf courses and a seventy minute drive from Charlottetown. Belle maison avec vue sur la mer d'où l'on entend le bruit des vagues. Wow!
Nous avons passé 10 belles journées: le chalet permet d'être bien même quand il pleut. Tout ce qui est dans le chalet est de bonne qualité: les chaises de plage, les serviettes de plage, ...) Les points forts sont la luminosité dans les pièces de la maison, l'ilot de cuisine, la véranda (quelle pièce extraordinaire!) et la galerie (café du matin ou apéro au soleil). Pour descendre à la longue plage, on ne marche que quelques minutes: sable fin, endroit très privé. La piste de vélo "Confederation Trail" passe près du site et nous en avons profité. De plus, tout est à proximité. Il n'y a que la partie Ouest de l'Île que nous n'avons pas faite. Le musée de la Pêche nous a agréablement surpris; la guide était très intéressante et la visite parle des gens, des pêcheurs, de leur vie, de leur dur labeur; moins approprié pour les enfants en bas âge je crois. Les propriétaires répondent rapidement à nos questions et se sont montrés très humains!
