Ravenswood Hotel – Iconic Australian Country Pub , riverside at Ravenswood – great counter lunches , free entertainment most weekends , about 3 kilometres by road or 30 minutes by river ------------ if you go to the Ravo on a Saturday or a Sunday for lunch in Summer , go early ( like 11.30 or so ) it gets very busy there in the high season
2. Sandy Cove Tavern – good meals , Sunday lunch , children’s play area , about 15 minutes by car to South Yunderup or about 10 – 15 minutes by boat
3. The River Resort Tavern – South Yunderup – lunch , dinner , 15 minutes by car , about 10 – 15 minutes by boat
We had a family reunion at your home. The location and home were perfect for us. Lovely outlook over
the river and close enough ( yet also far enough away) from everything we could want or need. Ken and Kaz were delightful and happy to help us out if we needed anything.
We all said we would stay there again if the opportunity presents itself.

Tranquil stay
What a beautiful spot North Yunderup proved to be: the river frontage with great access to the water and such a variety of bird life.
Shame about those pesky mosquitoes at dusk.
The cottage was charming and very well equipped, we really appreciated the welcome bubbles and chocs

Most relaxing comfortable holiday in years
Great location. You can pen your boat out the front
Caught plenty of crabs, played golf and relaxed.
I go every year twice a year highly recommended

Paradise
We love it here so very much. Beautiful character home with everything one needs for a holiday! The house is right on the Murray river and just have to walk out the back door to one’s own private jetty to have a fish, a crab, to relax and watch the world go by! We’ve stayed here twice now and have just booked again for next year! This time will be bringing our boat! Roll on 2024

Beautiful house full of character for a wonderful getaway
What an Amazing location and beautiful warm house to stay at, full of character. The river as your playground with all its beautiful nature. We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway from the city, and it is only an hour south of Perth , so perfect. Thank you for the wonderful stay !

Hidden gem
This place is a hidden gem, it was so warm and cosy in such a beautiful location on the river, it has everything you could possibly need and close drive to many tourist spots for outings.

The best holiday home in North Yunderup
Everything we needed was available to us. If we had a problem the caretakers were close by. Can't give this place enough praise, loved our time there. I would love to spend time there in the warmer months to take advantage of river.

Summer months there are just wonderful , in season we catch crabs straight off our private Jettty and one can fish all year round in the River. Do try and book ahead as we have many regular Guest who come 2 or 3 times per year ,,,,,kind regards

What a gem
You would never expect to find such a gem. It is a perfect place to escape from the humdrum life in the city. The wildlife is amazing, dolphins on your doorstep, birdlife, quendas, friendly magpies, fishing and crabbing.
The cosy fires on chilly nights and the aircon on the hot nights. There is everything you need on hand.

It's a children's paradise , swim , canoe , sail or boating if you have one. Lovely cool breezes every day in Summer and cosy warm indoor fire for winter. Quiet and peaceful yet still close to everything including all the facilities and amenities in Mandurah , Ravenswood and Pinjarra , all local areas are accessible by Boat on the River ways. Several great country pubs nearby. The Ravenswood in particular , which can be accessed by road or boat easily and quickly
Getting around
Nearest shopping centres – Spudshed , about 3 kms back towards Mandurah , major shopping centres both in Mandurah ( The Forum , Coles , Woolies ) about 12 kms away by road ................. also Coles in Pinjarra , about 12 kms by car , plenty of good shopping in Pinjarra as well as Mandurah Townsite , also a very nice organic fresh produce shop right next to the Ravenswood Hotel
The whole of the Mandurah waterways and Peel inlet ( Mandurah Marina , Port Bouvard , Mandurah Quays , etc ) are all accessable by boat , to go to into Mandurah or any of these more distant sites , and back again in the same day is a full day trip by boat , be careful of strong winds in the afternoon in Summer

Mandurah Train Station – 12 kms away
If coming from Mandurah heading towards Pinjarra , it's about half way between Mandurah and Pinjarra ( about 10 K's out of Mandurah ) , as your heading towards Pinjarra , turn right at the large Caltex Service Station into Tonkin Rd , travel about 5 – 600 metres , then turn left into North Yunderup Rd , then right at Culeenup Rd , which is at the Riverfront , the Home is about 5 - 600 metres along Culeenup Rd. on the left ( Riverside of the street ) , it has the # 42 clearly displayed on the front gate post
If coming from Perth on the Freeway , bypass Mandurah entirely and exit onto Pinjarra Rd , turn right back towards Mandurah , then after a couple of K's turn left at the large Caltex Garage into Tonkin Rd , then go about 5 – 600 metres , then left into North Yunderup Rd , then right when you hit the Riverfront , our house is about 5 - 600 metres along on the River Side of the road ............. the # 42 is clearly displayed on the front gate post
If coming from south of Mandurah on the Freeway heading towards Perth , exit at the Pinjarra Rd exit and then turn left towards Mandurah ............. travel about 2 kilometres towards Mandurah , then turn left at Tonkin Rd , where the Caltex Service Station is ............... go about 5 or 600 metres , then turn left into North Yunderup rd , follow that the Riverfront , turn right , go about 5 – 600 metres and our Home is on the Riverside ............. the # 42 is clearly displayed on the Gatepost
