Private Room
You will be staying in 2 private luxury guest rooms, which are separate to our home. Perfect for two couples, or two singles each with their own rooms. You can expect to enjoy unique breakfasts with a healthy twist. You will be close to John Forrest National Park, and walking distance to some beautiful waterfalls in Winter & Spring, and the historic Parkerville tavern. We're all about helping guests relax, be in nature, and get away from it all - while being in complete luxury! Our two guest rooms are adjacent to each other and have one common wall. They are in a separate dwelling to the main house (our home). The rooms are the same size (just styled differently). We have taken great care in styling them so that they are simple, yet luxurious. Both guest rooms have a king size bed (with minimal partner disturbance), walk-through shower and underfloor heating set in a beautiful location. From zero-VOC paint to the naturally sealed floor, the rooms have been built with as much care for the environment as possible. The rooms are cleaned using only natural cleaning products. Organic personal care products are provided for use during your stay. Your hot water is heated from the sun and power is largely supplied through our PV system. Summer nights in Hovea are rarely hot and the ceiling fan over the bed will keep you perfectly cool. There are modern conveniences such as wifi and a TV (with Netflix) in your room, but your mobile phone will not work here. You have access to the pool, the grounds of our property which includes our creek, and the 26.78 km² of nearby John Forrest National Park. The guest rooms are detached from the main home and each guest room has a private entrance. There are many outdoor spaces to relax around the property. At the bottom of our property, you will find our bridge which will take you to the old Railway Reserve Heritage Trail. The trail is popular for walks and bike riding. Hovea is actually the largest locality in the Perth metro area but it's made up mostly of John Forrest National Park. The old railway reserve will take you directly into the park. The natural environment is mostly Jarrah forest which is unique to SW Australia. The area is very historic as much of the early development of Perth headed out East. Smoking is not permitted in the guest rooms or on our property. We do not accommodate pets. We have a cat who lives indoors in the main house. Bring your walking shoes as there are so many wonderful walks near to us. We will supply insect repellent and sun screen if you need it. In terms of us, Jeremy works in IT and is a former school teacher. Claire is a Registered Nurse and qualified Naturopath. We are happy to cater your breakfast to suit your dietary needs including GF, DF, vegetarian, vegan, paleo etc...Our breakfasts are a highlight for many guests - and are created by our in-house naturopath. Amazingly good and guilt-free breakfasts are our specialty! Feel free to follow us on social media #quendaguesthouse More

WE were after a few days in the Perth Hills region which we had not done. The Eco Luxury Guesthouse was just that. Perfectly located as a centre for day time activities and within walking distance of the Parkerville Tavern for dinner. The room was...More

About the neighborhood
Hovea is actually the largest locality in the Perth metro area but it's made up mostly of John Forrest National Park. The old railway reserve will take you directly into the park. Getting around
The Perth Hills are best explored by car. Drive to us and drive yourself around the hills, as there is little public transport, but plenty of parking and stunning scenery to enjoy.
