About the neighborhood
Newtown and Enmore are Sydney's centre of all things alternative. From vegan cafes to vintage shopping and from community theatre to grungy pubs, they have it all. A walk down King St and Enmore Rd will take you past hundreds of shops, but there's also plenty of Green Space nearby thanks to Sydney Park and Camperdown Memorial Rest Park.
How to get there
Newtown station is two minutes down the road: trains to the city take 15 minutes. Various buses leave from King St and Enmore Road. I highly recommend using ride-sharing services: For first time users, download the Uber app for more information. Check out the TripGo app for transport timetables.
