The Lees Apartment is situated in a delightful part of Shropshire with country views all around. The surrounding area is extremely peaceful and teeming with wildlife. It was delightful to be around at nesting time for a whole range of birds, including the majestic sparrow hawk during our first visit. The Apartment is spacious, comfortably furnished and has all the amenities required for any length of stay. The rooms are large, full of character, with lofted ceilings and oak beams. Our circumstances were such that we had several visits to Shropshire over a 12 month period and chose to stay at the Lees Apartment on each occasion. Our hosts, Ruth and Lawrence, were warm and friendly and were always there should we need any assistance, but sensitive to our privacy too,

I had the pleasure of staying here for a long stay, it was everything I needed and I felt very at home. The flat is clean, spacious with lovely furnishings and all amenities. It is in a beautiful rural area but isn't too far from the town. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone for a holiday or longer stay.

We had a great week in the Lees Farm apartment - a very comfortable and atmospheric cottage-style attic-conversion featuring imaginative use of the magnificent old ceiling-beams. The house is in a quiet and peaceful countryside location, but within easy reach of the delights of Shrewsbury (we made good use of the excellent Park & Ride system), and there are many village pubs in the area where good ale and food may be obtained. Thank you Lawrence and Ruth, for a wonderfully relaxing week's holiday!

The Lees Farm Apartment is extremely well equipped and very comfortable. It is in a very peaceful setting on a quiet road which actually forms part of the national cycleway. The owners were friendly (but not too intrusive), helpful and very welcoming.

Fantastic, clean, spacious loft apartment, full of traditional character and old world charm, but with modern conveniences like Wi-Fi, TV, kitchen and bathroom. Wake up each morning to the sound of birdsong and horses passing slowly by. The owners are super friendly, very kind and considerate. Plenty of off road parking and beautiful countryside walks. High recommend. .

Lovely country retreat. Full amenities there. Very clean. Comfortable. Friendly host and hostess. Nothing any trouble. Billed on website as Leighton but really a few miles along the road in Walcot. Great walks along the lanes and easy access to local places and attractions. Would recommend.

Beautiful location in the countryside just down the road from the river Tern. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with many original beams. Very nicely furnished with a most comfortable bed, and well equipped kitchen. The surrounding countryside can be seen from all the windows, and the kitchen looks out onto a tree full of birds! (Bird book on the windowsill for identification purposes!) Lawrence and Ruth were contactable if needed, and very friendly and helpful. A lovely base for a Shropshire holiday, and near enough to larger roads if you would like to go further. We would definitely recommend!

A beautifully and sensitively restored apartment which is part of the main house but has the feel of being totally detached. Exceptionally clean and with the most comfortable bed! Well equipped and a good range of sundries also provided (washing up liquid etc) Owners very welcoming and helpful but we weren't aware of their presence unless we needed them. Very roomy and well equipped with interesting and unusual artifacts. Very well positioned for visiting large areas of Shropshire and also local supermarkets. We particularly enjoyed visiting Ironbridge and the mediaeval towns of Much Wenlock and Shrewsbury and we plan to return as there are so many other places we want see there. This was a most enjoyable and reasonably priced short break

The apartment comprises a kitchen / breakfast bar, good size lounge / dining area, large bathroom (with shower, bath, basin and WC) and a bedroom with a very comfortable double bed. It is situated up a couple of flights of quite steep stairs. The apartment is nicely decorated, is well furnished and equipped. The owners were unintrusive (we saw them just the once during our 5 night stay) but were available if needed. The location is quite remote so a car is essential but Telford (and the Irongorge Museums) and Shrewsbury are within a 30 minute drive. Great location for discovering Shropshire and visiting the attractions. There are also some nice places to eat within a 20 minute drive (The Haughmond is highly recommended). Really enjoyable stay and would certainly book again if ever staying in the area.
