Sandpoint was voted the 'Most beautiful small town in America' in 2011 by USA Today and will blow you away with natural beauty, friendly people, abundant activities and great restaurants! Our lake house is an easy stroll from all the amenities of downtown Sandpoint but still has a private location right on your own sandy beach beside the beautiful waters of Lake Pend Orielle. Absolutely beautiful and relaxing!
This house is beautiful inside and out and has a spectacular lakefront view. It is well situated within walking distance of the town, marina and beach. Sandpoint is charming and offers a wide variety of dining and entertainment options.
The house itself is beautifully decorated with a relaxed cabin-like feel, yet is still elegant. It is well equiped with all cooking and leisure items. There is a long dock leading out from the patio doors that open up to a beautiful view.
I highly recommend staying at this home.

Fantastic Girl's Getaway!
I just returned from a 5 day Girls Getaway to Sandpoint Idaho. Overall our stay was perfect!
The home is very large and easily accommodated our group of 8 women. Decorated with a beautiful mix of traditional and modern, the home was in great shape. The Galley style kitchen was nicely appointed, and allowed several cooks to interact with other guests while preparing meals. Bedding and Beds were new condition, and were very comfortable. We had everything we needed for entertaining. The wood burning fireplace was fully stocked with wood and was a nice addition to an oversized Family room, with comfortable seating for all 8 of us.
The view and private dock are second to none. The yard is private and we regularly used the outdoor seating on the deck. The lake was superb and the dock would be ideal for boating.
The home has a fantastic location, only a few minutes walk from shops, coffee and the cute downtown of Sandpoint. Sandpoint is a charming town with many great restaurants. We loved the Fish Tacos at Joe's Mexican Restaurant and Pies at the Pie Hut.
Sandpoint is about 30 minutes from Couer D'alene and 90 minutes from the Spokane airport. I found the home easily to locate after realizing that Third Avenue has a South and North block.
Everything was very clean and in great condition. I look forward to returning for a summer vacation with my family.

Perfect place for a girls weekend
Four friends and I recently spent a weekend at the Powell house in Sandpoint. The location is amazing! Right on the lake and super close to downtown. The home itself is stunning with vaulted ceilings, fabulous amenities, spacious layout and well-appointed kitchen. I couldn't have asked for a more lovely way to spend the weekend with good friends. We will be back!

Wonderful!!!
What a treat! This is a beautiful clean home that is centrally located in Sandpoint. We spent a few days over Christmas vacation here and would come back to this home in a second! The owner communicated very well, the house was appointed with everything you could need to be comfortable.

You will love this place....we did!!
We were very lucky to book this wonderful property last minute when we decided to go on a road trip. Owners were very friendly and easy to work with.
We stayed 2 nights before going on to Coeur D'Alene but if it had been available we would have been content to just stay put. So relaxing!!
We prefer our accommodations to be very spacious, clean, comfortable, well equipped with all the extras and we were not disappointed with this property.
They have thought of ALL the little extras to make your stay enjoyable.
We highly recommend this lake house and definitely hope to return ourselves.

M Property with Stunning View
My husband and I stayed at this gorgeous property with our two children. The view was spectacular and it has it a fantastic deck and private dock. It was very clean, the bedrooms were large and the dinning room and kitchen overlook the lake. In addition to it's beauty it is only a few blocks from the main shopping area and restaurants in Sandpoint. We would definatley stay again at this property.

I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
I try to go to Sandpoint a few times a year. I love this house. It has a beautiful beach, dock, and deck. The location couldn't be any better. You can walk to town in 5 minutes.
You can tell the owners take pride in their home. The house is beautiful and has all the ammedities you could think off.
We can't wait to go back.

Beautiful house, incredible view, set up very well for a family.
Rented the house for a long weekend for 5 adults; 2 couples and a grown kid. The home was perfect. It gave us a place to congregate and enjoy the view. It was rainy when we were there, so we lit a fire and watched football. Amenities were excellent, well furnished kitchen, great spaces.

Sitting by the fire on a rainy day or during a cool winter day always makes for a special family time. We have enjoyed many similar days and nights with our own family around the fire playing games and watching movies. We hope to have you back for a sunny weekend so you can see the other side of what Sandpoint has to offer.

Spectacular lakefront home and location!
We spent 5 days at this spectacular home while on a golf trip with 4 guys. What a great location! It was ideal for lounging around on the deck after a tough day on the course and enjoying the lake views - perfect for a barbeque and a few bevy's. The location is ideal, walking distance to downtown where there is excepional dining and nightlife. Golf in the area is incredible as well. A Nicklaus course, The Idaho Club, is 20 minutes NE, and also the Coeur d'alene Resort, 40 mins south, one of the top 10 golf resorts in North america. Also, many other courses at reasonable prices with 30 minutes of Sandpoint.
I recommend this home to anyone looking for a great lakefront retreat, no matter what the occasion! We'll be back, thanks again!

The Sandpoint area has some amazing golf courses that are incredibly affordable. I don't think many people realize the golfing opportunities that exist and the quality of the courses that are within a short drive from town.

Amazing
We just had our third stay at this lovely spot that feels like home the minute you walk in the door.
Each visit it seems the owners have added something that enhances you stay. This time it was a dock so we were able to take the family out skiing and boarding in spectacular weather. They also increased the size of the deck along with lovely and functional furniture.
We walked to convenient pubs, wine bars, with great food and music. Shopping also is within walking distance.
In summary, another great stay, at a wonderful vacation spot.

We were pleased to have you back. The first of many repeat guests we hope to host. I'm glad you had as good a time in the summer as you did during the ski season. The mild temperatures through the winter and shoulder seasons really make Sandpoint an all year destination. We are going to be spending our first Canadian Thanksgiving in Sandpoint this October and are really looking forward to the fall colours. Each season always seems to offer up a new surprise in Sandpoint!

Our lake house is located in incomparable Sandpoint, Idaho. Sandpoint was voted the 'Most beautiful small town in America' in 2011 by USA Today and will blow you away with natural beauty, friendly people, abundant activities and great food! We are in historic south Sandpoint which is known for its mature trees and original, historic residences. The house is an easy stroll from all the amenities of downtown Sandpoint but still has a private location right on your own sandy beach beside the beautiful waters of Lake Pend Orielle.
Getting around
Our lake house is easy walking distance from restaurants, bars, shopping and food stores. If you want to park the car and walk everywhere it is totally an option! If you want to venture a little farther a car would be your best option.

Detailed directions will be sent to you as part of your welcome package. We have lots of parking but we do share a common driveway with our neighbors to the west. It is extremely important no vehicles are parked in front of the garage or in such a way that restricts or blocks the common driveway. Please use the garage and our designated parking place to park your vehicles. Should additional vehicles be present during your stay there is additional street parking on Third avenue in designated areas.
