Located in the middle of everything!! Our beautiful rustic home is in the center of town. This rooms is bright with cozy decor and on the basement level. 45 minutes from West Yellowstone, 1 1/2 hours from Jackson Hole, 2 hours from Craters of the Moon, 10 minutes from Rexburg. The space On top of being in the center of the city, it is also in the center of most every wonderful geological option that you have within an hour and a half drive. This includes but is not limited to Island Park, Green Canyon, Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone Park, Craters of the Moon, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Mesa Falls and many other great attractions. This small private room in the basement level sports a full sized bed (not air mattress), decorated in cute forest animals design. This room will accommodate 2 people. A small walk in closet will accommodate your clothing needs, but also be sure to check out the bomb shelter accessible from inside the closet! Because of the bomb shelter, this room may have a slight musty smell. The windows do not open in this room. Also, the doorway is a little narrow and a tad short, so if you are tall, you may need to duck to enter this room. Iron and ironing board are available upon request. Carpets have been recently professionally cleaned. This room features WIFI access. Board games are available as well as puzzles for your use in your down time. For kids, a dollhouse with dolls and furniture are provided as well as kid friendly eating utensils and dishware. These fun amenities are located in the common living room which has a hide-a-bed couch with a memory foam mattress for your good night's sleep, and another full size couch and love seat. If you need to utilize either of these beds, please let us know in advance. We do have another private room in our basement area for guests that shares all common spaces. Bathroom is shared by the guests in our other guest room. Bathroom features a pedestal sink, and a large walk in shower, as well as adjustable hand held shower head. We provide towels, washcloths, hand towels, shampoo, and liquid shower gel as well. This space has a full size kitchen with stove, microwave, and full size refrigerator for your cooking needs; and is also a shared common space. We provide cold breakfast options for our guests such as bread (for toast), bagels, cereal, milk, orange juice, hot chocolate mix, yogurt, fresh fruit, and cream cheese. Although we understand that our first guest who stayed in this private room did not like it, others have. This private room is also part of a whole apartment listing. Guest access Guests have full access to Kitchen, dining room, bathroom on the basement level, and living room. On the main level, there is an enclosed porch where you can comfortably sit in any weather, and enjoy the great view of the quiet neighborhood. Wi-Fi is also provided. Guests are also welcome upstairs. Other things to note: There are steps going down from the outside entrance into this space. The bathroom is shared with other guests in basement level (usually only 2-3), but is dedicated to guests only. We clean the bathrooms daily, so you may be confident of cleanliness and sanitation. As this is a basement, there will be overhead noise such as walking feet and occasional chairs moving across the floor up above.

Smoking, e-cigarettes and vaping are not allowed on the property. We live in a non-smoking neighborhood and have allergies, so if you must smoke, please respect our neighbors by crossing over to the public parking across the street. If you use the kitchen, please wash your dishes and clean up. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. Please park on the street in front of our home, or to the side of our home. We are on a corner, so there is plenty of parking space.

About the neighborhood

In a quiet little town of just over 3,000 people, the town is pretty much the neighborhood. Our little quarter of town is very quiet and the more prestigious side of town. There are all of the city amenities within a few blocks (gas station, several eating facilities, Banks, city offices, Library, grocery store, convenience stores, parks, religious facilities, movie theater, bowling alley, Fitness Center, and more.)

Getting around

We do not have public transportation in our area at this time. However, the movie theater and bowling alley are two blocks to the west of our location (you can see them from our home). Also within 5 blocks of our location are the banks, hardware store, pharmacy, grocery store, and several wonderful restaurants. Within walking distance are two parks that front the river and one that does not, but has a great playground for those with children.
