Located two blocks from The Tybee Wedding Chapel (used in the movie The Last Song), it's a great place to stay for a destination wedding.
Recently completely remodeled, this owner continues to make upgrades in the condo, giving it a feel of a home away from home. There are special touches added to make your beach vacation a memorable one. This condo is great for couples or for girls getaway weekends. However, this condo IS NOT SUITABLE OR SET UP FOR CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12. There is a queen bed in the bedroom, a queen sleeper sofa in the living area and two captains bunks in the hallway to ensure a good night's rest after a long day by the pool or at the beach. Everything you will need for that day on the beach is provided for you, including beach chairs, an umbrella, and beach towels.
The kitchen features a full-size fridge, microwave and an electric range, plus extras such as a toaster, coffee maker, crock pot, waffle iron and blender. You will find the cupboards are fully stocked with dinnerware, cookware and even Tupperware (to keep food fresh). There is a breakfast bar that seats three or you may want to sit out on the balcony at the bistro table to watch the cargo ships and shrimp boats as they head out to sea. Often you will catch a glimpse of the dolphins as they play in the surf.
If you need some down time inside, the 'Smart' TV, allows you to watch cable, DVDs or if you are subscriber Netflix, Amazon or Hulu in the living room. The owner provides a wide selection DVDs. The TV in the bedroom is set-up for DVDs only. You will find books by local authors as well as other Southern writers. There is also a portable CD player for your musical enjoyment.
So set your watch on 'Tybee Time', come relax, refresh and enjoy this island just 20 minutes East of Savannah, Ga voted one of Health Magazine's 'Most Healthy' places to visit and also noted as a 'One Tank Trip' destination from the Atlanta Metro Area.
RENTALS ARE A (2) NIGHT MINIMUM WITH THE EXCEPTION OF APRIL WHEN RENTALS ARE A (4) NIGHT MINIMUM. NO RENTALS TO SINGLE GUESTS UNDER THE AGE OF 25. THIS IS A NO SMOKING UNIT. NO PETS ALLOWED AND EACH UNIT IS ALLOWED ONLY (1) PARKING SPACE.

This condo is not suitable for Children under the age of 12. The HOA regulations and House rules are posted in the condo. I don't issue refunds, except in the event of evacuation due to Hurricanes. I will work with you if you need to cancel up to one calendar year from your booking date. I will need at least a two week notice prior to cancellation. Also during the month of April, all rentals are a 4 night minimum. All Holiday rentals will require a 3 night minimum.

Interaction with guests:Â This is a self check in condo, you will receive a welcome packet from tripadvisor/me with details of key and gate pass location as well as parking pass. You will also receive the wifi log in and password. I am not an on site owner, but have someone locally that can help with any major issues. I am always available by phone, text or email.There is a notebook located in the condo with information about the unit, the complex and Tybee Island.
We were very impressed with the hideaway. It was clean, comfortable, and the view of the ocean was way better than we expected! They had everything we needed to make our getaway perfect!

Sweet spot
Cute little spot on Tybee Island. Right at the beach. The host was very informative and easy to communicate with before arrival. Everything was just as expected. The place was clean and had all the necessities for a great weekend. Good location to get into Savannah easily while enjoying the island.

Wonderful!
We totally enjoyed our stay at The Hideaway. My wife and I sat on the amazing deck which looked out over the beach. We saw the dolphins play and watched as ships passed and they always make great waves. The condo is well stocked with everything to fix a great meal including the Beach House Cookbook. My wife loved it so much that she ordered a copy while we were there. Also I slept extremely well! The bed was as comfortable as my bed at home.We noticed too the cozy and relaxing decor. Simply The Best
This was an amazing cozy little condo. Due to the stress of the COVID19 pandemic and having two jobs that are considered essential, I was SO in need of a getaway. This was a perfect 3 day trip. The balcony view was amazing and although there were several other guests there, it was extremely quiet and peaceful. The condo made me feel like I was in my own home, and the location was just perfect. I will definitely be back.

Relaxing water view stay on Tybee Island condo
This was our first visit to the island. We stayed to enjoy the beach and have easy access to visit Savannah.
The location is perfect if you love the beach and the pool. We saw dolphins, boats and lots of birdlife go by, watching from our balcony. The beach is a short walk and not crowded. We saw 2 manatees in the water one day.
The condo is old, yet well kept. It is supplied with plenty of towels, beach towels, kitchen supplies. It was clean, although we were particularly bothered by a ceiling fan thick with dust Sheets and towels were clean, yet well used and somewhat worn.
It would have earned five stars, with nice new towels and sheets and a cleaning of the fan.

Thank you for your comments and they will be taken under advisement. The issue of the dusty ceiling fan has been addressed with my housekeeper. Yes, the complex is older but the management does an awesome job keeping it well maintained. As for the linens, I try to rotate those every few months, however they do get worn from daily wear and tear and constant washing. Thank you again and I hope that you will consider visiting The Hideaway again if you are ever on Tybee Island

Beautiful weekend on Tybee island
We decided to visit lovely Tybee island for my birthday weekend getaway and a friend has recommended the Savannah beach and racquet club as a place to stay. We found the unit we stayed in online. I always like to find a place that has a great view. This unit served us very well! It had everything we needed and our view was very nice. We spent every evening out on the deck watching dolphins. My birthday weekend on tybee was a success. I'd definitely go back!

Highly Recommend
My boyfriend and I stayed at The Hideaway at Savannah Beach and Racquet Club. It is on the 3rd floor in the corner. Very quiet, which we loved. I have stayed in a lot of condos at different beaches and this has got to be the most accommodating condo I have stayed in. The owner had extra toiletries like shampoo, soap, tp, etc. (most condos do not).
Only downside is the 2 flights of stairs. It's only about 20 steps but if you have a lot of luggage it can be a haul. Of course, that is just my opinion, coming from someone who hates stairs. I would definitely stay here again.

Love it!
This is a great condo in a nice complex with a wonderful ocean view. The owner has taken a lot of care and added nice homey touches that make this a very cozy and relaxing place to be. It's perfect for a couple. Pretty much everything you need for the beach is in the condo. The owner was great and super easy to communicate with. My favorite part of our stay was watching the dolphins every single day at just about any time of day.

Great Place! Right on the beach!
We loved this place and will come again. Clean and comfortable place! It’s in a nice condo complex. 100ft from the beach. Nice pool too!

Great Location
Great location on Tybee. We loved being away from the crowds, while still being close to great food. The condo is beautiful.

The Island has many festivals and events through out the year. There are so opportunities for charter fishing, dolphin tours, eco-tours or just relaxing on the beach or by the pool.
Getting around
The island is accessible by car, but once you are there you can rent a bicycle to ride and enjoy the scenic views. There are also taxi and golf cart services, numbers can be found in the guest book at condo.
