This 900 square romantic cottage snuggled in amongst three acres of old growth oaks, Spanish moss and cabbage palms. Walking distance to downtown Sebastian-an adorable little fishing town. A perfect getaway for 2 to enjoy the pleasures of the Treasure Coast.
Totally renovated in 2011, brand new kitchen and bath with granite counter tops, tile floors and all appliances. Master bedroom has a Queen size bed.
This area offers some of the most beautiful beaches, golf, shopping, restaurants, bars, nature parks, world class deep sea fishing, water park, zoo, museums, theater, antique centers, historical mansions, river boating, sea cruises, outlet malls, Disney world is 1 hours drive north, and Florida Keys is 3 hours drive south.

Listing is misleading :(
Well, tried making a reservation for myself, my bf, and our son. We were declined, bc of our son. Owner said he could only accommodate two people. Yet the site says two different times that it's kid friendly and great for children of all ages. We will be going through someone else. Too bad, could've had new customers who would visit yearly.

Another wonderful week in paradise!
Had another wonderful stay at the Peacock Cottage. This was our third time here, and we prize the beautiful setting, quiet, and privacy. At the same time, the location is extremely close (walkable) to the historic waterfront in Sebastian with many nearby restaurant choices. The owner, Bill Clark, couldn't be nicer. We intend to return next year.

Great folks always welcome in my home. They were always going and doing enjoying the Sebastian area. Great to see them again. Stay warm in the cold country. See you next year.

Relaxing Vacation
Although the weather was a bit cooler than we hoped for, we spent four relaxing days in Sebastian at the Peacock cottage. The cottage was well furnished and maintained. Driving down the driveway really sets the tropical tone. The highlight, of course, was the visit from the peacocks, hopping up on the table and posing for photos.
Had good meals at Squid Lips (on the water) and Marsh Landing (in historical building in Fellsmere).
Booking and check-in were easy. Bedding was comfortable. Very quiet, except for an occasional train horn at night. Easy 1-1.5 mile walk/jog into town on S. Indian River Dr. (very little traffic). Overall, a very pleasant stay.
