After a succesful careers in French hospitality including many years at the Ritz of Paris. In 1987 Ginette and Remi bancal decided to move to Australia, where Remi was involved in the success of restaurants such as Miettas in Melbourne and Banc is Sydney. In 1999 Ginette and Remi established Peppers Calstock Tasmania which received many accolades including best luxury accommodation. They have now recently refurbished Glencoe Rural Retreat in classic French country style; four rooms with ensuite, guests lounge and dining/breakfast room.
The Glencoe Rural Retreat also boast a café open to external guests and serving light lunchs and afternoon tea, but for the in house guests you will be able to try Remi delicious rustic French fare for dinner matching the local wine, booking essential.
