Perfect location. Views of the beach and sunset are amazing. Close proximity to beach, pool, bay, short walk to restaurants and shopping. Captiva Shores is an excellent community to stay in while on Captiva. This unit looks good until you stay in it. Main complaint is the air condition does not work well--especially into the Master on the top floor. It is HOT up there. Hard to sleep. Bed is uncomfortable -hard-- Pillows and bedding need replaced. The unit feels like the owner has not put a dime into it for a few years. We cook many nights while on vacation and the kitchen is very cumbersome. Cupboards knock into each other creating banged up cupboards. Frig has a broken drawer. It gives you the feeling that you've paid a lot of money and didn't get what you paid for-- King Fisher addressed every single one of my concerns--to the best of their ability--but they couldn't do a thing with the A/C--said it was working properly--someone needs to overhaul it and make it work to the upstairs! Sign on the door to the master says leave door shut to help it cool--tried that--no luck. So, be aware that it's a beautiful location! You will love where you are. It's just the annoying issues stated above that leave a bad taste in your mouth when you've spent that much money for one week. I could not recommend this to a "friend" without the air condition being addressed. We were there just 2 weeks ago--first of April--and it's not even super hot in Florida yet . . .

We just returned from our vacation in Captiva and had a truly amazing time. The Villa Sea Dreams was spectacular and exceeded our expectations. We walked in a said WOW and it turned out to be one of the best places we have ever rented! The home is absolutely gorgeous, fully appointed with top of the line amenities, and completely stocked for all of your needs right down to the extra large beach towels. The kitchen is well equipped with great appliances, utensils, blender, crock pot, electric skillet, and plenty of dishware. They even provide a wide variety of spices. The private webber grill is a great addition for those nights we wanted to cook out. The furniture and bedding are all like new, the entire home is very clean, comfortable, and top notch. The views from the Villa are breathtaking and the Captiva sunsets are a sight to behold right in front of you. You are so close (25 steps the sand) to the beach/ocean you feel like you are right on top of the water. Even though you are that close they still provide a wagon making carting the top of the line beach chairs (best we have even seen at a rental property) and umbrellas to the beach a breeze. The road in front of the house has very slow moving cars (20 mph) and very easy to cross so no real issue at all. The water was calm and crystal clear for all of our stay. The wild life and shelling is incredible. We saw many variety of birds, dolphin and manatee just feet from the shore line. The Village with all of the restaurants, cafes with outdoor music, art galleries and shops is a quick easy 6 minute walk by beach or road. The charm of the Village gives you a remote Caribbean Island feel but with all the amenities of main land Florida. The owners (Dan & Dyan) and property manager made sure our vacation was be the best it can with a quick response to any questions that we had or assistance requested. Dan has also been very helpful in the past by providing other great rental alternatives when his homes were not available. His 30 years of knowledge really pays off when you want a honest opinion on location and quality of other rentals. The complex of 20 units has beautiful tropical landscaping and stretches from the bay in the back to the ocean in front, a great set up for families. The pool area is a great place to relax after a long day on the beach. It was quiet and well maintained. The bay in the back has a huge dock for excellent fishing and sunrise viewing. This home appears to be one of the few places on the island with the best position to enjoy both bodies of waters and views. We cannot wait to return to Sea Dreams and Captiva Island!. Dave & Tina

Villa Sea Dreams was the perfect spot for me and my family of 5. The town home suited us well. I loved the location in relationship to what we could walk to, while having the ocean in front of us and the bay behind us. We did elect to do a family fishing trip at Jensen's with Captain Nelson. That was definitely the highlight of the whole trip! He was fabulous and I mention this because if people call and ask you, he was the best! His boat was comfortable and clean. He was patient and a good teacher. We caught dinner for two nights and had a blast! Your villa also suited us well. Very comfortable, clean and we also loved the pool. Overall, my families favorite vacation in a long time! There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms in this home, full size kitchen, laundry facilities and 30 steps from the beach. The pool was clean and easily accessible and the bay with great fishing and views of the sunset were a short walk behind our facility. The owner, Dan Sierra was accessible and attentive with answering questions about his property. It was very clean and the management team at Kingfisher were very accessible and informative. I would recommend this specific property to anyone. Perfect fit for my family! Loved it!

Stayed May 21-28, 2016. Absolutely amazing weather and place to stay. They really did think of everything. Kingfisher was very prompt to answer any questions about the island. There are tons of places to eat (RC Otters and Doc Fords were the best). We took 2 Captiva Cruises and even went down to Bowmans Beach one day just to see some other faces because we had the whole beach basically to ourselves. Great Place. Great Trip.

We have stayed here twice, both for spring break. The location of the rental is pretty perfect: across the street from a beautiful beach, within a short driving distance to fun restaurants but far enough that if you serenity you get it. The home has always been impeccable and has everything you need. We will come back every year!

We were very pleased with the unit. Excellent setup for two couples and a couple of kids, and well appointed. We particularly appreciated all of the beach gear that came with the unit! The only gripe was around the vacuum, which was broken and not replaced until our last day in the unit. But that really wasn't that big of a deal. We would definitely rent here again!

You can't beat the location. Beachfront. You have to cross the road, but it's literally 100 feet. You can hear the surf thru the screened windows. It had everything we needed. From kitchen utensils to beach toys.
