If you’d like to venture a little further out, World Famous Cocoa Beach is just a short 20 minute drive to our North, and the Sebastian Inlet State Park and Recreation Area is an even shorter drive to the South. The many Theme Parks of Orlando are only an hour and a half away.
Area activities include Golf, Tennis, Surfing, Sailing and Scuba Diving. Eco-tours of the Indian River Lagoon by Kayak are available, as are AirBoat tours along the Saint Johns River. Antique shops, Restaurants, and small night clubs are just across the river in Historic Downtown Melbourne, and a little further up the road at Historic Cocoa Village. Visit Port Canaveral, the second busiest cruise port in the world, and arrange a day cruise, or watch Cruise Ships while you dine on the catch of the day at a local restaurant. Or just sit in a rocker outside your door, and do nothing.

To maintain our health and that of our guests, Pineapple Manor is a non-smoking environment. Smoking is prohibited in the apartments, on the decks or patios, or anywhere on the property, whether or not other guests are present.
Lovely apartment with verandah which was nice to sit out when cooler which also had a fan overhead, with comfortable seating.
The owners were very nice and nothing was too much trouble,
The beach and river both within walking distance. A supermarket just a stroll away as are some places to eat.
We enjoyed our week here.

Everything was perfect!
We had a wonderful time and Pineapple Manor was so relaxing. We loved sitting on the porch in the morning and evening. The owners actually thought of everything. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic, Restful Stay
Loved our recent stay at Pineapple Manor. The place was very clean, well equipped and just wonderfully cozy. We enjoy being close to all of the action, but tuck away enough to relax. We will definitely come back and recommend to others.

Ahhhh, Paradise!
Between the ocean and the river. Sun, relaxation, surf, laying back, fishing snoozing, walking on the beach, napping, great dining within walking distance (either left or right), mellowing out, an ice cream parlor too die for. Do I sound happy? Oh yeah! Did I mention what a GREAT place this is to simply veg out? On the other hand, if watching somebody work their butts off makes you point and giggle, you MUST stay here. Mark and Kathy COMPLETELY clean each apt before the next guest arrives. They actually iron the sheets. Seriously, Awesome!

I'll be back!
The perfect place to vacation at Melbourne Beach. The Pineapple Manor is located about a block from the river and three blocks from the ocean. The apartment was spotless, and the kitchen was probably better equipped than mine at home. Friends that I had over for dinner asked for contact info so they could book it when friends came to town. Mark(the owner) was always available and helpful.

Perfectly Pleasant Stay!
We had a wonderful stay at Pineapple Manor...our apartment was clean, quiet, nicely furnished with everything we could ask for in a great location for us (we were in town for a family wedding). I did a great deal of research and this was a great bargain and true hidden gem. Short walk to the river for beautiful sunsets and a few blocks walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful Spot for a Vacation
I just spent a month at Pineapple Manor, and it was the perfect spot to vacation in Florida. The location is ideal, with shops, restaurants, the beach, the post office, and a wonderful grocery store within walking distance. And that doesn't take into account the pier at the end of the road, which offers gorgeous sunsets almost every night!
The apartment is lovely, with bright, cheerful color schemes, a well-stocked kitchen and laundry facilities on premises. And then there are the biscottis, provided by Kathy! Yum! The owners, Mark and Kathy, couldn't be nicer. They live right there, and are available whenever needed.
This is the perfect spot in Melbourne Beach for a winter getaway!

Lovely apartment with everything you need
A perfect location, quiet but convenient for local attractions with an easy walk to the beach. The apartment is spotlessly clean and well-equipped and the owners added some nice personal touches to make our stay more enjoyable. They are available on site and very friendly and helpful, but do not impose themselves. All-in-all, we spent a thoroughly relaxed few days in Pineapple Manor.

Hidden gem in a small, charming beach town.
I stayed in Pineapple Manor for the whole month of December. When I arrived the owner took time to introduce me to the apartment and the amenities including a fully-stocked kitchen. Through my entire visit he and his wife were ready to help in any way needed. This is the upstairs unit...clean, colorful and light making it a fun place to stay... and...a block to the river and a few blocks to the ocean. There's a great gourmet grocery store and a couple of really good restaurants and bars. Accessible quiet beaches throughout the area makes it feel like times past when things were less touristy. This is a great little beach town and Pineapple Manor is a hidden gem.

A Great Stay!
This was a very pleasant! The unit is very clean, spacious and comfortable. A 5 minute walk to the beach! I would definitely stay here again.

We are located in a quiet residential setting, on a Barrier Island, Two and a half blocks West of the Atlantic Ocean, and half a block East of the Indian River Lagoon. Ocean Park, at the Eastern End of Ocean Avenue is the closest beach access point. Parking is available, but it's close enough that many of our guests prefer to walk. You'll find a variety of local restaurants and a gourmet grocery within walking distance as well. Rykman Park is directly across the street, and the historic Melbourne Beach Pier is at the Western End of the street, just a half a block away.
Getting around
A car is recommended, as there is no public transportation in the neighborhood.
