Two Bedroom/2bath Home in Bradenton Beach Sleeps 6.
This is a two bedroom/2bath home in Bradenton beach, with washer/dryer, new kitchen (granite counters), big screen/WiFi, great fishing on your own dock, on a quiet street, five minute walk to bridge street shopping area, two minute walk to the beach & restaurants, kayak, bicycle, fishing!! Watch dolphin hunt, snook at your feet, mullet jumping and of course the reason for the name "Manatee Cove" they come within a few feet of the dock! Beautiful view of skyway bridge from the swing and on a clear day the rays stadium. Every morning enjoy the beautiful sunrise from the dock or through the bay windows, and just across Gulf drive watch the most beautiful sunset!

The house is more for Adults as the area is mostly retired and 25ft from the water makes it not good for kids, also there are glass tables that may be a hazard. Four adults is about it as the plumbing is old and it is not a party place.

Location location location
Location location location! Beautiful yard overlooking the bay. Saw dolphins a few times! Large 1 story home on a dead end street was very comfortable for 4 adults. Home needs some updating but still a perfect spot to vacation. Soft fluffy towels and the kitchen had everything you need. Just a bit disappointing was the construction of a new home going on right next door with large trucks parked right at our door daily. King bed has a very very soft mattress. Walking distance to everything. Beach, Coconut Hut Tiki Bar and Restaurant and Wicked Catina are only a 5 minute walk away. Place had 2 small beach chair, 2 beach umbrellas and a beach buggy for your day at the beach. Rented a golf cart for a few days to explore the rest of the island. We had a wonderful time on AMI.

Manatee Cove
We loved our stay at Manatee Cove. Everything was just as described. We saw Manatee several times (a mom and little baby were there sometimes twice a day, they're in the picture), dolphins (also a mom and baby visited often) and a couple sharks. (Other pic is in the reflection of the rear doors) Loved the location! Cannot wait to come again! Thanks Terry!

Bayfront bliss!
Manatee Cove is a quaint and comfortable home on a dead end street with a beautiful Royal Poinciana tree where you can watch the sunrise while enjoying your morning coffee. This location provides privacy, constant breezes and amazing views. The dock was great to moor our 26 Tritoon .
There is more mullet than you can eat . It's a short walk to the beach , local restaurants and shops.
The trolley stop is just on the corner . It's free and you can explore the whole island. We have already reserved our vacation for next year.

Relaxing Rental
I selected this property based on it's waterfront location and proximity to the beach (walking distance down the street). And this house delivered!
Terrell is very responsive and upon arrival showed us around the house, which was very clean. The kitchen is equipped with coffee maker, stove, and microwave. And the house has paper towels, napkins, garbage bags, etc. Note, the house does not have a dishwasher.
Beach towels and (the softest) bath towels are also provided.
If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet escape, this is the house for you. I would stay here again.

The best of the best
A wonderful place to stay for your visit to AMI. Convenient free bus transportation, wonderful restaurants, beautiful sunrises and sun sets, and a house that provided clean rooms, well stocked necessities and a relaxing patio with private dock.

Perfect pet-friendly beach house
The owner Terry met us a check in and provided a tour and answered questions. The location is great - at the end of a private street. Back yard overlooks the bay and there is a private dock. Very quiet and peaceful. Easy walk to the beach access at the end of the street. Close to tiki hut and Wicked Cantina. Fully equipped kitchen. We ate breakfast and lunch at home and then splurged on dinner out. Nice area to walk the dog. Hope to return soon.

Great rental experience
I rented this quaint Florida 2 bedroom 2 bathroom house as a surprise getaway for our 50th anniversary. It is well maintained and was very clean. It overlooks the water and is right down the block from a free island trolley stop and a nice restaurant, the Kononut Hut which is on a public beach. It has indoor and outdoor seating. The food and service was very good-they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and also have live music on the weekend. It is dog friendly, as well as other restaurants on the island, which was great for us. There is a Publix within a few minute driving distance. The kitchen has all the pots, pans, dishes, appliances, utensils etc that you would need if you want to eat in. The owner/manager Terry was great to work with. He met us at the house, showed us around and made us feel very comfortable. He had a beautiful card and flowers for our anniversary and let us know he was available anytime if needed. We would highly recommend renting this vacation house.

We had a great time. The home was perfect. We had both the bay and the beach at our fingetr tips. We would go back as long as Terry would have us.

Manatee Cove house
Great house with great location. Comfortable beds and pillow selections. Very clean with lots of hot water. Can’t beat the views or location. Right on bay and one block to ocean with great beachfront restaurant at end of street. Highly recommend.

About the neighborhood
There are about a dozen restaurants within walking distance from the house in Bradenton Beach. And many more on the other end of the island in Holmes beach and the town of Anna Maria. Boat, Kayak, Bicycle, and Segway Rentals are a phone call away. The Bradenton Beach area has done very well in remaining part of the old Florida. You won't find McD's, or any other commercial chain. There are no high rises, mostly smaller homes with a few condos.
Getting around
Once on the island I recommend you walk and avoid driving. The trolley is free goes all over the island and stops at our street. For those who want the direct ride, The Monkey Bus will take you and works for tips.

Car not needed
How to get there
Crossing through to village of Cortez (one of the oldest fishing villages in Florida) and once on the island we are three blocks to the north and just a two minute walk to Gulf Drive Café. It's about eight minutes to walk to Bridge Street, the center of town. And if you are a Moose member, the lodge is right on the beach with very reasonable prices for food and drink.
