Prospect Cottage is a two bedroom cottage in the lovely village of Chittlehampton situated a few miles south of Barnstaple in easy reach of the North Devon coast and Exmoor. The cottage is several hundred years old and has recently been renovated and offers excellent accommodation for up to four people. Situated on the square in the heart of the village, next to the large parish church and local school and 50 paces from the award winning Bell Inn which has a reputation for good food and quality beer. There is a general store closeby. The cottage has an open plan ground floor with kitchen, dining and sitting areas. Upstairs there is a master bedroom with ensuite shower room, second bedroom with twin beds and a bathroom. Location next to town of south molton which for a small town has everything even Quincy's honey farm well worth a visit, even bigger town only 20 mins away Barnstaple, even better only 30mins is North Devon coast saunton sands & croyed bay awesome place...More

Warm, comfortable, clean and well equipped - the cottage was fantastic. Thank you also to the owners for arranging fresh bread, milk, butter and lots of little extras.

Attractive cottage in Devon. Contained everything we needed. The village had a shop and a very nice pub which served good meals at a reasonable price. Surrounded by wonderful countryside, and with coastal towns a short drive away.

Chittlehampton situated a few miles south of Barnstaple in easy reach of the North Devon coast and Exmoor. Instow beach is a favourite which is about 30 minutes from Chittlehampton. Croyde, Woolacombe , Saunton and also not far . Ilfracombe is just 21 miles away.Ideal as a base for golf breaks, with High Bullen just 4 miles away. Saunton and Royal North Devon are about a 30 minutes trip. There is also Ilfracombe (21 miles), Woolacombe(20 miles) , Libbaton(6 miles) and Portmore (7 miles) .The cottage is close to Exmoor which is popular with walkers. The Tarka Trail is also close by and bikes can be hired at certain points along the trail.
