Villa
This 140 m² villa with swimming pool and 330 m² of terraces/verandas is placed on a 2130 m² plot bordering a shallow lake next to the Glyfada Beach. Distance from villa to lake is 50 m and further 80 m across the lake to the beach.
This is a detached house registered at e-Platform 60518.
The villa is fully air-conditioned and has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms one of which has a whirlpool bathtub. Furthermore there are 2 living rooms; one with a fireplace and access to the main terrace surrounding the villa and one to the veranda, both have a panoramic 270º view. In addition, there is a roof terrace with magnificent 360º views.

Perfect House for families in Naxos
I am a bit conflicted writing this review - on the one hand I don't want anyone else to know about this amazing house, and on the other hand we want to tell everyone. Steinar and Riet could not be more accommodating and the house is absolutely gorgeous. We stayed for a week with our family of five (two teenagers and a 10 year-old) and could not have asked for a better experience. The house is close enough to a market that our kids could walk up and get drinks, pastries, snacks and also several excellent restaurants. The pool overlooks the beach which is just a quick walk. The house sits about a 25 minute drive from downtown Naxos which is the perfect distance to see the island as you drive to and from. There is always free parking downtown and while we loved to visit for dinners and a catamaran tour, we also loved coming back to our little private home away from the bustle. The house is fully stocked with everything you could need and we are already making plans to return.

Excellent
Stayed last September as a couple so we had plenty of space !
Ideally situated but we already knew the area so knew what to expect.
The villa is extremely functional, cleverly designed and fully equipped.
We are going back next summer, that says it all.

Very nice house for our family gathering.
A very nice hose with an excellent wiev to the sea and marvelous sundowns. Groceryshop and nice restaurants nearby. The house was very nice and god equiped with all you need. Even baby chair an baby beds. We had a perfekt week.

Wundberbare Villa nahe beim Strand.
Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in der Villa verbracht. Ablauf war sehr unkompliziert und alles in diesem Haus funktioniert bestens. Zudem war der Glyfada Strand im Oktober praktische menschenleer und das Meer noch schön war. Die Bäckerei ist etwa 50km entfernt und sehr zu empfehlen. Die Tavernen in der fussläufigen Umgebung waren allesamt exzellent.

Nice place to stay on naxos
Nice house, beautifull beach at 100m...just a security with the swimming pool would have been apreciated because of our young children...

Thank you for your positive review. However, you are correct that there is no specific children fence around the pool (pool is 80-200 cm deep).

Hidden secret
We were 8 people (60+) and had a marvellous week at Villa Bella. The villa is very well equipped and we enjoyed the warm nights on the terrace. The location is perfect and if you wish an alternative to the pool, I will recommend the beaches at Vikri Migla (5 min drive). I can also recommend the local family-restaurant (Maria - 100 meters away) with good food and a real friendly, greek atmosphere. If you intend to go to the Cyclades, do not hesitate to book this excellent villa.

It is obvious you have given much thought in the construction of the villa and the comforts once complete.

About the neighborhood
The villa is located by Glyfada Beach, about 17 km from Naxos town and 15 km to the airport. Grocery shop is about 150 meter from the villa and there are 4 restaurants in walking distance (under 1 km).
Within 70-150 meter from the house there are 10 other vacation houses, of which only 1 is not sold and therefore not finished. Highly unlikely that any work will be done, and no work in July/August. It happened twice the last 15 years that some work was done in May/Jun or Sept/Oct.
In this area there are mostly open landscape and beaches, yet not any large hotels. Several local cafes and restaurants make it a quiet vacation place for families.
Getting around
Villa Bella is situated on the beach of a shallow (0-30 cm deep) lake which has warmer water than normal sea water. In the high season parts of the lake are dry so you can walk across to the main Glyfada Beach with dry feet. In the remaining part of the year you can easily cross the lake (80 m) by wading or walk around (400 m).
Glydafa Beach is famous for windsurfing and especially kite surfing due to perfect wind and sufficient distance to the airport.

How to get there
Main access to Naxos is airplane to Athens, Santorini or Mykonos - and then boat further to Naxos. It is also a local plane access from Athens to Naxos 1-2 times a day. Normally no problem with same day travel from any destination in Europe to Villa Bella in Naxos.From air-/sea-port is is about 15-18 km to the villa. We recommend renting a car (or another vehicle) for having the freedom to explore the island while you are here. Even if there are taxi and some buses, and grocery store close to house, own car is not necessary - but strongly recommended to see city and other parts of the island.
