I’m happy to show you in and provide recommendations and information.
We stayed in this two-bedroom condo in January. We chose it because it was pet friendly and conveniently located -- we were delighted. The unit has two bedrooms -- one with a queen bed and one with 2 twin beds. It was ideal for a couple, our two grown sons and a dog. It isn’t fancy, but it is well equipped, clean and sufficiently comfortable. This unit is located right next to the parking garage -- meaning it was simple to unload our car. Jason conveniently allows skis and boards to be stored in the unit. It takes about a minute to walk to Chair 7.
I highly recommend this unit at Cimarron Lodge. It is just about the best location because it is on the ground floor and next to the parking garage and laundry room.
Some things to be aware of if you decide to stay at Cimarron Lodge
1. Getting to Lift 7 is easy as pie. From the top of lift 7 there are blues and a green that you can take to Mountain Village or the Meadows. That part is lovely.
2. Getting back to the condo is trickier. The easiest way to ski is Telluride Trail, which is not easy. It’s long and steep in places. It was exhausting at the end of the day when we were tired.
3. Another option for returning to the condo is to take the Gondola and catch the shuttle. The downside is the Cimarron Lodge is almost the last stop.

Thank you for your positive review. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay and found the condo clean, comfortable and convenient.
Telluride Trail is an intermediate, blue run which winds gently down the front side of the mountain back to Chairlift 7 and the condo. I suspect that in some places you inadvertently took some of the intersecting steeper runs.
Regarding the shuttle, to cut the travel time by 75%, simply catch the shuttle a short block from the gondola station on Main Street going in the direction of the condo.

Coming Back to Ski in Winter!
This two bedroom condo is great! It is in town and close to all. The mountain chairlift is just outside. My wife and I were attending a festival and loved how clean, comfortable and cozy it was. Jason is a fantastic host. He lives in Telluride and knows the area well - good for directing us to some good restaurants and bars. We will definitely be back for ski season.

About the neighborhood
The Cimarron Lodge is located at the base of Chairlift 7 IN THE TOWN OF TELLURIDE. It is truly SKI IN/SKI OUT. It is situated on the scenic San Miguel River which flows through the Town of Telluride. Walk or bike through town on the River Trail. The Lodge has two stops on the town's Free Shuttle Bus route. The Lodge itself is located at 300 South Mahoney Drive, Telluride.
The Lodge is adjacent to the Valley Floor which offers miles of groomed Nordic and Skate Ski Trails.
Popular Thai Restaurant, Siam and trendy Asian Fusion Bar/Restaurant 'There' are one block away. As is the main grocery in town Clark's Market. Unlike the middle of town, with the bulk of the commercial establishments, the West End location is mostly residential and quiet.
The rental has a reserved, FREE underground, heated, parking spot. Across the street is FREE public parking.
Getting around
The condo is located in downtown Telluride, at the west end of town.
Town is very small, you can walk through town along the scenic River Trail to the festival areas or Main St.
Or of course you can ride bikes or take the free shuttle bus which stops at two locations at the condo complex.
