Sitting on the banks of a sparkling river, surrounded by towering cliffs in historic, enchanting, quaint Redstone, this modern, pooch ok (additional fee) cozy, 260' & even romantic studio is a perfect location to enjoy an aesthetic wonderland & an outdoor enthusiast's paradise south of Glenwood Springs & Carbondale. PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ THE ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE BOOKING!!! We want you to be fully informed and have a wonderful stay with us! I will beat other available Villa rooms

Very good location
I am on a cane and will ask for lower floor next visit, Clean neat convenienmt. Good bed, comfortable, beautiful view of river.

About the neighborhood
Tranquil beauty with redcliffs all around and of course the Chrystal River! Redstone's Historic District boasts several charming shops, some privately owned restaurants, very friendly community. Other activities include four wheeling to the most photographed site in CO named the Crystal Mill and jeeping Schofield Pass and Lead king Basin, Pearl Pass; tour the Redstone Castle & check out the Redstone Inn (call about family night-hot tub), hiking, biking, soaking in hot springs five minutes up the road or at Avalanche Hot Springs, ice skating,tubing (get out of the river before the Meat Grinder!!) fishing the Crystal River or/and enjoy cross country skiing or downhill in Aspen. The Maroon Bells is a beautiful area in Aspen.
Getting around
Historic Redstone is a very small community. The main Blvd is maybe 3/4 mile long with alot of shops, a convenience store, gas station, a few restaurants, a pay phone outside the store and we have a landline phone at my building's office. Unless you plan on commuting to Carbondale, Glennwood Springs, or Aspen, you don't need a car. Once in Carbondale, you can take a bus that hauls your bike to Glenwood and Aspen.

How to get there
From Glenwood, take CO 82 toward Carbondale and then take CO 133 and turn left on Redstone Blvd and cross the immediate bridge. This is right across from the coke ovens.
