Had another super, relaxing and enjoyable holiday at Hilary and Patrick's Cottage. They always look after their guests and the accommodation is superb. Worth every penny and would recommend this accommodation to all.

Management response:

Lovely to see you again!

We were lucky enough to spend 4 days with Hilary and Patrick on their beautiful property in Normamdy. Hilary gave us a tour of their lovely property, and offered dinner suggestions which worked out great. The location of their place was perfect for getting around Normandy to do the sightseeing that we came to explore. This will be the first...

About the neighborhood
Saint Pierre itself is an agricultural village located on the sea coast, within walking distance of the Pointe du Hoc. If you are a birder, bring your binoculars because there's an ornithological reserve nearby. The Saint Pierre church dates from the 12th-14th century and is well worth a visit.

Our corner of Normandy offers some great sandy beaches, lovely country roads for rambling or cycling, and views of traditional Norman mansions, some of which are open to the public.

Just down the road is the little fishing village of Grandcamp-Maisy, which offers a good selection of restaurants on its seafront, a fish market, and a sailing school, as well as other commerce, including 2 bakeries and a butcher shop.

We're also an easy autoroute drive to the Mont Saint Michel or to Monet&#...
