Amazing hospitality, stunning home, real peace and tranquility!
Glenshane Country House is a truly wonderful home away from home. Jamese and his wife are the most gracious and kind hosts - they welcomed us and made us feel like family friends! They had a wonderful basket of local foods to help get us started, including some wonderful home baked breads and eggs. They took time to get to know us and helped us find things to see in the local area. We enjoy nature and the 'off the beaten path' things, and they showed us some really unique parts of local history that you would never have known about and are not in any guide books! The home is just stunning - the photos don't really do it justice! Immaculate in side, warm inviting and homey, comfortable beds, all the amenities you could want, basics stocked in the kitchen to help get you started, and a very peaceful and tranquil setting. They own all the land around the home, as well as the sheep and it was fun getting to watch them (and Jamese's sheep dog) interact! Overall a wonderful home and a place we will definitely go back to! Thanks to you both for making us feel so welcome, and for sharing your beautiful home!

Fantastic house in a fabulous setting with the loveliest of hosts.
This was a great central base for exploring Northern Ireland, with many popular attractions within easy driving distance. Locally, lots of lovely towns and villages with plenty shops and great places to eat and drink. The house was also in a beautiful setting with stunning views across the valley to the Sperrins - can now see why Ireland is known as “The Emerald Isle”! A great place to relax and unwind, made all the better by the lovely hosts!

Absolutely Fabulous.
Where to start.This property has it all and so much more. I stayed with 7 other family members and I truly did not want to leave this property. It was just amazing. So-so comfortable, clean and OMG the views of the Sperrins would take your breath away from all parts of the house. If you are planning to travel up to Northern Ireland you must check this property out as you will not be disappointed. It is a brand new house and everything is of the highest quality like their king-sized beds.(So Comfy) You can travel to the Giants Causeway, Belfast and so much more, which is not too far of a journey and then you get back from sightseeing and enjoy a long soak in the Jacuzzi. Jamese and Katie are just super friendly hosts. They welcomed us on arrival and were so kind and nice. They even left us a welcome basket of food. Just so thoughtful. This is 5-star property with not a 5-star price tag. So reasonably priced it was hard to believe. I can't wait to book this property again in the future.

Brilliat House - used for a business trip!
We recently used Glenshane Country House whilst on a business trip in Ireland, the house was perfect for the guys to use whilst working away from home as it has everything you could possibly need!
Highly recommend staying at Glenshane Country House - James tried his very best when we requested a check in time earlier than they had available which we really appreciated.
We would definitely use this house again :)

5 star, Luxury, Peaceful!!
This is what Glenshane house is really. These three words summarise the place but it's way more. Hosts Jamese & wife are just brilliant. They came out to welcome us, show us around, a brief chat & left a basket of homemade goodies. One gets a real feeling of home away from home. The house is kitted out to a very top, high quality standard. It's out in the countryside with pastures & sheep grazing just outside. It's very quiet & peaceful with fresh countryside air to rest & refresh the mind. At the same time, the house has all the modern comforts one can think of ie flat screen tvs in every room, xbox Nintendo Wii, board games, free WiFi etc. If one fancies sightseeing, there is lots to see nearby including the highest pub/restaurant in Ireland. We have been to lots of top B&Bs, hotels & self catering establishments all over the world & Glenshane house is amongst the very best we have ever been to.

Superspitzenklasse
Das Haus war die absolute Krönung unserer Irlandrundreise und der ideale Ausgangspunkt für das Erkunden von Nordirland. Alles was das Herz begehrt fanden wir in den sehr großzügig geschnitten Zimmern. Die Küche fordert einen buchstäblich auf zum Kochen - mein Sohn hat hier die erste Lammhaxe seines Lebens zubereitet. Die Aussicht ist hervorragen, die Ruhe einmalig. Der offenen Kamin trocknet so manchen Regentropfen. Der Besitzer war super nett, wir wurden sogar mir frisch gebackenem Brot und Scones sowie selbstgemachter Marmelade empfangen. Uneingeschränkt empfehlendwert. Jederzeit wieder.

Fantastic
Staying on business with colleagues, had a lovely stay. Host was brilliant and very welcoming. House had the wow factor, faultless with lots of little extras. Would recommend staying here on business or pleasure.

From start to finish, the hosts couldn’t be more accommodating or more available for us.
They have literally thought of everything with this stunning house.
I was here for business purposes but I will for sure be returning on a leisure break in the future.

Fantastic
Glenshane Country House is absolutely stunning, has all mod cons and is finished to such a high standard. I stayed with six other family members and we were pleasantly surprise when we arrived. Fantastic views and so peaceful. Jamese was an absolutely pleasure to deal with and so accommodating. We were really sad leaving but we will definitely be returning and next time we will be staying longer. I would highly recommend this property.

Recently stayed in this excellent accommodation, have to say one off the best accommodation I ever stayed in, all mod cons, fantastic views plus Jamese and katie couldn't have been more helpful. We'll definitely be back in 2019,
