Interaction with guests
The entry is keyless because I work weird hours and I am not always available in person to let you in. I will typically send a text with instructions the day before or the morning of your check-in. If you need anything, I am available for text messages at any time and live close by incase there is an emergency. There is free internet available and the TV has Netflix and Hulu+ for you to use. If something were to break or malfunction during your stay, please let me know right away, I can probably get replacements or fix things very quickly, just let me know.

We stayed here for a couple wine tastings I was covering for work. It's a comfortable drive to anywhere in Wine Country; we had no trouble getting to Napa, Sonoma, etc. Not only were the location and price utterly convenient — and more doable financially...More

About the neighborhood
The unit is located in a historic district of Vallejo, it was build in 1917. I have never had any issues at this location. Not when I lived there and I have not heard of any troubles right there. There was a car breaking about 2 years ago, but those things happen anywhere. Restaurants, the waterfront, are all within walking distance, the winecountry and six flags are all within minutes, outlet stores are about 20 minutes from getting on the freeway. the ferry to SF is a 5 minute walk as is the bus terminal.
Getting around
If you are strictly going to SF, you will not need a car. the ferry and the bus are all a quick ride from Vallejo and you will avoid parking issues if you leave the car behind. However, if you wish to go anywhere else, you will need a car. Of course there is Uber, Lyft and regular taxicabs also. If you are going on a wine tour: hire a car. DUI is super expensive, not to mention dangerous. Please, as a first responder I ask you to rent a limo, they are reasonably priced around here. thank you.

How to get there
Coming from Sacramento and Marin:
I-80 to SF to SR37, take the Wilson st exit, turn Left follow along the waterfront at the Vallejo Yachtclub turn Left on Florida St.go up and turn Right onto Santa Clara St.

Coming from Oakland/SF:
I-80 to Sacramento
once you cross the bridge take the Sonoma blvd exit, follow that all the way into Vallejo, when you get to Florida St turn Left. Go to Santa Clara Street, turn Left again.

The house will be the second building on your left hand side, there is an alley (Lozier Alley) directly adjacent to the house. There should be parking readily available, maybe less on Sunday because there is a giant, well visited Catholic church right around the corner. but typically parking is not an issue.
