The Trinity Alps are a mountain range in Siskiyou County and Trinity County, in Northern California. They are in the Klamath Mountains System, and located to the northwest of Redding. The Trinity Alps are noted for their scenic views and alpine environment.
How to get there
Driving Directions: From the San Francisco Bay Area: Highway 80 east to Highway 505 north to Highway 5 north. In Redding, take Highway 299 (exit 678) west 38 miles to Weaverville. Turn right on Highway 3. Continue 38 miles to Coffee Creek Road and turn left. Almay Ranch is 2 miles on the left. From Ashland: Highway 5 south to Highway 3 west. Continue 40 miles to Coffee Creek Road and turn right. Almay Ranch is 2 miles on the left. (Highway 3 over Scott Mountain is not plowed on weekends.) From Eureka: Highway 299 east 110 miles to Weaverville. Turn left on Highway 3. Continue 38 miles to Coffee Creek Road and turn left. Almay Ranch is 2 miles on the left.
