Rental was all the was promised and more. We loved sitting on the deck and the chairs by the window to watch all the action on the beach and in the water, including lots of dolphins. We spend time in the ocean every day with good beach access. (A little bit of a walk if carrying lots of stuff.) We easily walked to many meals. We used the pool and community room when we had other family visiting for the day.

We stayed in Surfsong #6 throughout November and it is a very comfortable, well stocked, and well maintained unit. Sharon and Mark have have put a lot of love and care into their condo, are extremely responsive owners and wonderfully nice people to be in contact with. We enjoyed being in the corner unit - it felt very spacious, and had fantastic ocean views. The condo is near restaurants and shops, and a short walk to Fletcher Cove and the beach. The TV system is top notch, the best we have seen in a rental unit. Overall, the place is a great place for a family or couples getaway, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay at your wonderful place in Solana Beach. The condo was extremely well equipped. We had everything we needed for a dinner with family as well as fun at the beach. Beds and linens were very comfortable. We used the WiFi often but not the wonderful TV's because the weather was terrific for 9 days so we spent most of our time outdoors. The owners were incredibly friendly, welcoming and communicative. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family had the most enjoyable stay! The condo was clean, cozy, and filled with everything we could have ever wished for, and more! The views were like none other!!!!! We even spotted dolphins many mornings during our stay and were soothed by the tranquil ocean waves and breeze. The hidden walkway to Fletcher’s Cove made for delightful strolls to the beach. The location is amazing and close to grocery stores, shopping, and some really great restaurants. We are looking forward to our next stay!

This oceanfront condo is perfect, everything you want for an amazing stay. It is a quiet first floor unit with a wonderful patio ocean view. We saw dolphins and sea lions during our stay. The furniture is extremely comfortable, especially the beds. It is walking distance to the Coaster train station, local bars, restaurants and the beach. Private underground designated parking spaces with an elevator a few feet away is really convenient.. Everything you would need for a great vacation is furnished. Sharon is extremely responsive and a pleasure deal with. You will not be disappointed with this condo. We liked so much that we have booked it again for next year..

We stayed for a week in October and had an absolutely amazing time. The condo is exactly as pictured and had absolutely everything that we could possibly have wanted or needed. The location is great with very easy access to the beach. The owners were super responsive from my initial questions to the end of our visit. I have nothing but great things to say about this rental. In fact, we plan to return again this September! We've found our new favorite vacation rental!

We have returned to Solana Beach / Markleys place after having stayed there before in 2013. Obviously because it is a great place, the apartment is clean, well supplied and spacious, it is well located and offers the best views. Our boys love the beach (Fletchers Cove) you can walk to in less than 5 minutes, with a boogie board of Markley under their arm. It is not too crowed over there not even on a sunny Sunday. From the place you can walk in minutes to Cedros Ave which is a main street or Hwy 101 for a drink (great local wine maker and brewery) or some food. We will come for sure if we can!

My husband and I stayed at this lovely condo the first year it was available and were so pleased with the experience that we decided to return again this year. We were even more impressed! A partial wall had been removed, allowing for a more spacious view of the ocean from the kitchen. It is a corner unit, with extra light and expansive ocean front views. It has a wonderful inside sunny sitting area and we enjoyed the gas fireplaces in both the front room and master bedroom. The TV/sound systems are first rate. It is nicely decorated and the owners diligently maintain the premises, upgrading and replacing items as necessary. The condo is very well stocked and the kitchen has everything you need. If you require assistance, the owners are quite responsive and friendly. The unit is in a quiet location, with close beach access, and the downtown is a very short walk. We highly recommend this condo as your home away from home.

This condo and owner provide everything you need to have a great vacation stay. Just bring your suitcase as that is about all you need as the owner allows you to use their beach accessories and if you choose to dine in, they have a full kitchen / pantry with all cooking necessities. (Just pick up your main groceries and the kitchen has everything else) Sharon and Mark (who use the condo regularly) have thought of everything and let you enjoy their home as if it were your own. While we were there Solana Beach was having a festival with booths and exhibits which was an added attraction. That lasted two days and was enjoyable. The restaurants are plentiful and so many stores are within walking distance. The condo itself is so beautiful, spotless, high end furnishings, quiet, private, and the views are priceless. The owners are conscientious about making sure the home is stocked with necessities. We had a fabulous time.
