In the living room you will enjoy lounging in front of the gas fireplace on the plush (sleeper) sofa, and gathering around the dining table and four chairs. Enjoy coffee in your room, as well as the half-fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and granite countertops in the kitchen area.
Having recently completed a $53 million resort-wide renovation, this AAA Four-Diamond resort has never been more magnificent. The dramatic lobby, through its floor-to-ceiling windows, overlooks a cascading waterfall and the breathtaking Sierra Nevada Mountains.
***There is a Daily Resort Fee of $25/day which you will be required to pay upon check-in. This fee covers internet access, shuttle service to the village, in-room coffee & tea, local & toll free calls which are complimentary for the first 30 minutes, use of the fitness center and a copy of USA today. If you would like to have a daily turn down service the fee is $140 for each day as requested and is paid at the front desk.
Check in time is not until 4:00 PM and Checkout is 11:00 AM. You may arrive earlier to enjoy the facilities at Squaw Creek and you may be allowed to check into your unit earlier if it is clean. Please ask the front desk upon arrival.

Recreation enthusiasts love the resort's true ski-in, ski-out lodging, 18-hole championship golf course, on-site cross-country ski center, fly fishing center, ice-skating rink, heated swimming pools, hot tubs, waterslide, and scenic hiking and biking trails. And if that's not enough, there's also our own shopping promenade, four distinct restaurants as well as other dining venues, a full-service spa, a complete health and fitness center, tennis center, and Mountain BuddiesTM, a comprehensive children's program.
Squaw Valley is an excellent destination for any time of the year, being conveniently located to all your North Tahoe adventures. Squaw Valley has a paved bike trail that travels all the way to Tahoe City and West Shore Lake Tahoe.
The famous Truckee River raft/float starts in Tahoe City and ends at River Ranch, just two miles from the Resort.
Lake Tahoe and Tahoe City are just 7 minutes down the road, with swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, wakeboarding, sunbathing, boating, and movie theater.
Sports activities abound: frisbee golf, skateboarding, rafting, tubing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, tennis, miniature golf, snowboarding, hiking, trail running, downhill mountain biking, cross-country mountain biking, road biking, fly fishing, and lake fishing.
Spring's Snowfest brings an array of activities, parades, and fireworks. Independence Day fireworks in Tahoe City and Kings Beach are the highlight of the summer. Squaw's Christmas Eve Torchlight Parade is the best way to ring in the holiday season, with hundreds of torches skiing down the nighttime mountain.
